Love Comes To Me
Chapter 995: As long as you like

"Where."

Eloise tucked her cheek hair behind her ear in embarrassment, then turned her head to meet Hector's dark eyes and her heart fluttered.

At that moment, Hector's mother's voice rang in her ears.

"Eloise, you really did a great job singing."

Eloise looked back at Hector's mother and realised that everyone was looking at her, and a faint blush instantly spread across her pale face. "Come on guys, don't flatter me, I really didn't sing that well."

She was really embarrassed.

Hector's father let out a hearty laugh, "Eloise, you don't have to be modest, it was really well sung and we all enjoyed it. Why don't you sing another song."

"Yes, sister-in-law, one more song, one more song." Aisly flirted beside her.

Even Sweety and Solomon chimed in, "Mummy sing another song."

In desperation, Eloise had to sing another song.

After that, everyone got into the spirit of singing and sang along.

It was not until almost twelve o'clock that the family gathering ended.

Dropping people off at the hotel door, Brimlad grabbed Hector's mother's hand and said sincerely, "In-laws, do come to Kyoto sometime in the future, and I'll show you around then." "Yes, I'll definitely be there." Hector's mother patted her hand, "Then you must come again too."

Brimlad smiled, "Will do."

"Baggott, next time we have the chance we must play some chess." Hector's father beamed.

"Be sure to chaperone."

Hector's father and Baggott looked at each other and laughed.

"Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, we'll go first."

RupertAisly said hello and took the lead in leaving with Hector's parents.

Watching them leave until their car drove away, Brimlad withdrew his eyes and moved to Hector and Eloise.

"It's late, you guys should go back too."

Eloise bent to Solomon at her side and said, "Say goodbye to your aunt and grandmother."

Solomon obediently said "bye".

Brimlad stroked his head lovingly, "Good boy, you must be careful not to get hurt again, okay?"

"I know."

Then Brimlad looked over at Sweety, who was being held in Hector's arms, with a gentle brow, "Take the two children to Kyoto for a while again sometime." She really likes the two little ones.

Hector nodded, "Good."

He looked at Eloise and said, "Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, we're off, you guys get an early night."

"Take care on the road."

Eloise waved a hand at them, "We'll come and drop you off tomorrow."

"No need to be busy." Brimlad refused in a hurry, "Your brother-in-law and I know how to get back." "Not busy." Eloise smiled and continued, "We're off, then."

Watching the family of four get into the car, it started and slowly drove away until it was out of sight. "Go upstairs."

Baggott was the first to withdraw his eyes, taking Brimlad's hand and turning towards the hotel.

...

The next day, Hector and Eloise saw the Baggott couple off and made a trip to the shopping centre.

It was still some time before Aisly's due date, but Eloise decided to get the baby's birth present first, fearing she wouldn't be at City J by then.

"Hector, what do you think would be a better gift?" Eloise didn't have an idea for a while.

"Get a pair of bracelets." Hector said.

"A gold bracelet?" Eloise frowned, "Wouldn't that be a bit too tacky?"

Hector's lips curved slightly, "No, babies don't wear tacky."

Eloise nodded, "OK then, let's go and buy the bracelet."

They took the lift upstairs and went into a counter of a well-known brand.

"Hello and welcome." The shop assistant greeted me warmly, a polite smile on her exquisitely made-up face.

Eloise returned a smile, "Hi, we'd like to buy the bracelet the baby is wearing."

"Yes, this way please."

The clerk led them to a counter and pointed to the gold bangles placed inside and said, "These are all worn by babies, so if you like them, you can take them out and look at them." With that, she stepped inside the counter and had two glasses of water brought to her.

"Please drink your water and take your time."

"Thanks." Eloise said thank you and looked down at the bangles carefully.

It's all pretty much the same really, nothing special.

Her delicate brows furrowed slightly as she raised her head, "May I have this engraved, please?"

The shop assistant nodded, "Of course. If you fancy that style, you can tell us what you want engraved when the time comes and we can engrave it on the inside of the bracelet for you." "Good."

Eloise looked again at the bracelets and chose a pair of newer ones.

The shop assistant carefully took the bracelet out and put it into her hand, "You have a good eye, this is the new one that just came in yesterday."

Eloise smiled politely and turned to Hector, "What do you think?"

"It's not bad."

Eloise also thought it was nice and said to the shop assistant, "I'll take this pair."

"Okay, I'm going to write the order, you guys wait for a moment."

Taking a break from the clerk's billing, she walks around the shop, and finally she stops at the jade counter, looking at the wide array of jade pieces and raising her eyebrows slightly. Perhaps she could buy a jade bracelet for her mother.

It's always good to buy a bracelet for your mother as people nurture jade.

"Hector, I'd like to buy this." She caught a glimpse of one of them.

Hector looked away with a doting smile, "As long as you like it, you can buy it if you want."

In the end, Eloise picked out two jade bracelets and two jade pendants and asked the shop assistant to braid them with black cord.

She took two jade bracelets and said with a smile, "One for your mother, one for my mother, and the jade pendant for you to hang on your car."

Hector looked at her with a happy smile that arched his eyebrows, his eyes rippling with the slightest hint of tenderness, she had always been so sweet.

Having bought the gift, Eloise breathed a sigh of relief, "Just waiting for the baby to be born to give it to the baby."

"Do you want to go anywhere else?" Hector asked.

"Well..." Eloise thought hard and shook her head, "No. How about you?"

"Neither did I."

Eloise shrugged her shoulders and teased herself, "Looks like we're both bored."

Hector lost his smile, "Then to keep you from getting bored, I'll take you somewhere."

"Where?" Eloise asked curiously.

"You'll know when you get there." Hector sold out.

Eloise laughed and didn't pursue the question further.

After twenty minutes or so, the car slowed to a stop and Eloise turned her head to look out at the building, the corner of her mouth twitching, "You just brought me to the office, huh?" Hector turned his head to look at her, "Don't you like it?"

Eloise laughed dryly, "It's not that I don't like it, it's that I didn't expect you to bring me here."

"I've got a bit of work to do, you stay with me."

He had offered, so how could Eloise refuse, "Yes, I'll stay with you."

Hector led her into the office and as soon as the receptionist saw her, her eyes widened in surprise and disbelief.

The chairman actually brought the chairman's wife to the office.

The news quickly spread throughout the company.
