Love Comes To Me
Chapter 997: No more nonsense

The corners of Hector's lips curled slowly at these words, which declared sovereignty.

At the sound of Eloise's words, he seized her lips with unerring precision.

Eloise's heart fluttered hard and her hands unconsciously clutched at his lapels. Extremely lingering.

Just when Eloise thought she was going to suffocate, Hector fondly left her lips.

Once again, the four eyes meet.

He smiled meaningfully, "I should never have brought you to the office."

Eloise was stunned and then reacted, her face instantly flushed and she pushed him away, "Ignore you."

She fled back to the sofa and sat down, picking up the book she had just read and continuing to read.

Hector smiled and raised an eyebrow, giving her another look before resuming his work.

In fact, Eloise couldn't even read the book, her lips were still tingling with the scent that belonged to him, disturbing her so much that she couldn't be still at all. A little annoyed, she closed the book heavily before collapsing on the sofa.

At the sound of movement, Hector looked up and saw her lying down, the corners of his mouth curling into a doting smile.

She's such a child.

...

Eloise was going to lie down for a while, but she fell asleep.

When I woke up, it was all dark outside.

She sat up, the thin blanket she was covered with sliding down.

Grabbing the blanket, she inclined her head to see that Hector was still sitting behind the large desk, head down and working intently.

The light spilled over his head, plating a soft circle of light.

She curled her lips in a smile, unable to take her eyes off her.

Perhaps noticing her gaze, Hector lifted his head and met her gaze.

"Awake." Thin lips were lightly parted and a low voice rang out in the quiet office.

Eloise blinked back and nodded, "Well, awake."

"Are you hungry?"

"I ..."

Eloise was about to reply when her stomach suddenly rumbled and her pale face instantly flushed.

The office was quiet and Hector heard it and couldn't help but curl his lip, "Give me a few minutes and we'll go to dinner."

Eloise was too shy to look at him and just nodded her head to show she knew.

After about ten minutes, Hector finally finished his work and he took Eloise out of the office and went to a well-known couple's restaurant in City J.

The restaurant is located halfway up the hill and has a large terrace with a great view of the greater part of City J at night.

With the evening breeze, the night view, the food and Hector to keep her company, Eloise feels incredibly happy right now. Hector saw her giggling from time to time and couldn't help but be a little curious.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Hmm?" Eloise looked bewildered, not understanding why he was asking that.

"What are you laughing at?"

So that's what he was asking about.

Eloise rested her elbows on the table, hands clasped under her chin as she gazed at him, "I feel happy and in a good mood."

The light fell into her eyes as if it were a speck of starlight in the sky, shining brightly.

A small smile tugged at the corners of Hector's lips, "You like it here?"

"Love it." Eloise turned her head, looked out at the beautiful night scene and said, rather emotionally, "I haven't been this relaxed and relaxed in a long time." At these words, a hint of imperceptible emotion flashed under Hector's eyes.

"And..." Eloise withdrew her gaze and met his dark eyes, "I don't know how many days I have left, so... it's time to be happy be happy when it's time to be happy." Hector's eyes narrowed, "Don't say anything stupid, you'll be fine for sure."

His voice was a little stern and even his demeanour was a few degrees colder.

Eloise knew he was angry, angry because of what she had said.

She grinned, "I'm kidding, I was thinking of coming back here with you when I'm older."

When she said that, Hector's face finally eased up, "No more nonsense, okay?"

"I know." Eloise turned the tables and said, "Let's take a picture later too, don't waste such a beautiful view."

She saw a number of couples taking photos and got excited.

There are very few photos of her and him together, and it's good to have one more for him to keep as a souvenir later.

Hector nodded, "Good."

After finishing her meal, Eloise dragged Hector to the edge of the terrace and called the waiter again.

"Could you please take some pictures for us, please?"

After Eloise's enquiry, the waiter readily agreed.

I took several shots of them in a row and Eloise looked at them briefly and they were all very good.

"Thanks."

After thanking the waitress, she showed the photo to Hector as if offering a treasure, "Doesn't it look good in the photo?"

Hector looked at it and smiled slightly, "Well, it's very nice."

Eloise looked down, crossing one by one, the smile on her lips slowly fading as she looked at the picture of herself smiling like a fool.

How she wished she could spend the rest of her life laughing heartlessly by his side like this.

But while the idea is good, the reality is harsh.

She was well aware of the condition of her body, which was like an untimely bomb, not knowing what would blow up.

Hector was keenly aware of the change in her mood and his brow furrowed slightly, "What's on your mind?"

At the sound of his voice, Eloise immediately collected all her thoughts and her face broke out into a bright smile again, "I wasn't thinking anything, I just thought the pictures looked good and you looked good too." Hector stared deeply, trying to see something in her smile.

Eloise was a little vain and pretended to avert her eyes, "It seems to be late, let's go back."

She took the lead and headed into the restaurant.

As he watched her depart, Hector frowned, hoping he was being paranoid.
