Lusting For Ralph
Chapter 31

Ralph was just back from his meeting with Walter and Shani, it has been a while for him and though he hasn't experienced anything that would be of concern, he always likes to check in with the group every couple of weeks. He would still see Suzy and talk to her every now and then, but she had visited him less because Madison has been coming to his place more often and the teenage ghost didn't like their steamy sessions.

In some ways, Suzy has been like the little sister that he never had. And like a true annoying little sister she would pout and being a ghost, she stormed through the kitchen walls every time Madison walks into his apartment. And that night Suzy was not gone the second Madison walked into his apartment.

"She did? what did you tell her?" he asked while he was already boiling on the inside. Madison was telling him about meeting her mom unexpectedly at Silvio's.

He was about to reach for his phone when Madison shook her head telling him no.

"She's still your mom, Ralph. But you can still choose your path. She just wants what's best for you. I didn't say anything to upset her, she already hated my relationship with you."

Ralph took another beer and drink it down as if the golden liquid could calm him down. When in reality he was still fuming, thinking that he'd call his mom and told her that he won't be coming home for the holidays. "Ralph, baby, please..." she sat next to him and wrapped her hand to his body. "She's not even my real mom."

"I know, but she raises you. And they're your parents' best friends. Think about your real parents then?" she rests her head to his chest and he pulled her in and kissed her hair. "Madison, why are you so nice?"

"Because I love you? because you're so cute and cuddly? because you build my bookshelves? because..." she straddled him and gave him her sweet little kisses in between her words. He chuckled and they ended up naked and sated, tangled in bed hours later.

"I'm liking our talk." He pulled her naked body on top of his.

She smiled, she was sleepy and falls asleep in his arms within seconds. Only to wake up screaming that night from the scariest and most vivid dream she had ever had. Madison was deep in the woods. She was walking, calling out trying to replace Ralph. Her throat was sore, and she was tired and sweaty from the long walk.

But then she stopped when she found a big abandoned-looking house. Madison could see traces of footsteps so she silently followed them, while her heart was pounding so fast. The surrounding was eerily quiet, she could feel a trickle of sweat trailing down the back of her spine. Her eyes scanned the area, she was putting one step in front of the other.

She was scared shitless. But her adrenaline kicked in when she saw a man lying on the floor and she could see the Breitling watch that Ralph love adored for years.

"Ralph..." Madison whispered, trying to wake him the moment she reached his side.

"Ralph, please!" She shook his body trying to get him up, but he was heavy, and he's not opening his eyes.

She was panicking when she could feel something dark was approaching them.

"...wake up, please...please...you gotta wake up,"

Her boyfriend was not waking up, he was too heavy and she would never leave him behind. Ralph's eyes were still closed and she was struggling not to scream in fear as Madison felt the dark figure was coming closer to her. "Give him to me,"

His deep throaty voice made her looked back at the dark entity, and that was when she saw it.

The big black hairy figure was so tall that she could only see him from the waist down. The monster reached out his hairy hand and grabbed Ralph's legs and that was when without thinking she grabbed her lover.

What Madison didn't expect was his blood seeping through her white dress. Then she looked at her dress thinking she never owns a white long sleeves dress to which she thought looked more like a nightgown.

But her mind was quick to go back to Ralph who was unconscious. Her hand reached to the end of his t-shirt and she gasped when she saw his abdomen was sliced open and his blood was seeping through.

She was crying in her panic state, and at the same time, Ralph's body was being dragged away. She was hugging him, trying to hold him down, but the monster was more powerful and she was dragged away with him at the same time. Madison was crying and screaming for Ralph and she didn't even felt the rough texture of the floor when it scrapes her knees as she was trying to hold onto her Ralph.

"Maddie! Maddie! wake up!"

He tugged her awake she was screaming out his name in sheer shock.

"Ralph!"

She opened her eyes and hugged him so tight that he was worried about her life. But then he quickly thought it was a nightmare and relaxed back while taking her back into his arms, comforting her and soothing her sobs. "It's okay baby, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

"It was the most... you're...I can't...the monster..." Madison was not letting him go, her hold on him was tight and she couldn't even form her sentences.

"Baby, I'm here...calm down." He was feeling her damp t-shirt.

"You're sweating, let me get you a fresh t-shirt then we can get back to sleep."

She was not letting him go, so he took her hand and both walked to his drawers so Madison could change to his fresh t-shirt.

But he was not ready when he saw the scrapes on her knees and her shins and saw the sole of her feet were all dirty as if she has been walking on a very dirty floor.

He was silent while she was looking at him with her tears rolling down her cheeks.

"What is happening to me? I thought I was dreaming?"

"We need to go to Walter, no... wait, we're going directly to Shani, I'm calling Walter to meet us there."

Ralph was going to get his phone but Madison was still not letting him go.

"I'm afraid!"

"I'm so sorry, baby." He hugged her and decided to change her clothes and clean her scrapes in the bathroom while trying to calm her down.

The water was black from the dirt and the soil from her feet. Twenty minutes later she was dress in his t-shirt, her scrapes were all treated but she was still not letting him go.

Ralph gave up and called Shani telling her that he had an emergency and was going to her place at that very moment. Then he called Walter, knowing he knew and the fact that they might need his assistance should Shani wanted to do a seance.

Ralph put on his clothes then both went back to her place and wait for her to put on her loose pants and sneakers then they're out of the apartment building just hours before dawn.

Ralph was feeling her fears and she was scared for his life after knowing that it was not a dream.
