Lusting For Ralph
Chapter 33

It was morning when they arrived at his place, they didn't talk much. He had tried to get her to talk but she was shutting herself from him. Ralph thought maybe she was exhausted because of the nightmare, the drive, and also the stress from the entity itself.

"I'm so tired Ralph, hold me... I'm not feeling very well." Her words were soft and barely audible.

Madison woke up in the middle of the afternoon and felt a little bit feverish, her body was a bit warm as she snuggled in closer to her boyfriend.

"Let me order some soft food and get you some hot milk." He kissed her forehead softly, he didn't like the fact that there was grey mist surrounding her. His mind wonders when he was preparing the hot milk after ordering her favorite lasagna from Silvio's.

There shouldn't be any bad energy surrounding them, she had been cleansed by Shani already.

He was not focused when night came and her fever was not getting better.

"Suzy! Suze...where are you?!"

The teenage ghost popped up from the floor, head first surprising him.

"The f**k Suze! don't do that! use the walls like you usually do, okay?"

"Okay, I was trying something new. But someone's in a really a bad mood apparently." The teenage ghost hovers to his side trying to sniff the hot coffee in his hand.

But then she backed away when she feels the sudden chill, then looked at her surroundings.

"What... woahhh what is happening here?"

"Shit! you're seeing this too? I'm not imagining this? what is happening Suzy?"

"It's him, oh no...Walter! got to get Walter here. He's draining her."

"What? how can't I see it?"

"Just get him here, and your witch friend tells her to bring her stuff. And you, you need to get away from her."

"What?! I'm not leaving her!"

"Whatevs, just get your sidekicks here, fast!"

Ralph was about to call them when Suzy was inches from his face, the dirty noose on her neck was clearly visible to him.

"Wait! Ralph, her amulet, why did she takes it off?" being a ghost for so long she learned to recognize a protection charm from afar. Suzy could see the spell that it radiates, and it was not working when it's not attached to Madison, the entity was too strong. "She didn't, I did."

"You stupid fool! she needs to wear it all the time. Put it back on!"

He was quick to get her amulet from her side table and put it back on her neck, the dark mist was thinning and finally disappear.

"You really think I need to get away from her?" Ralph asked her when Madison was back to sleeping soundly.

"Well, he's your ghost."

Suzy kept on hovering, she knows that he's deeply in love with his woman but she was telling the truth and she was liking his Madison. She has been a good influence on him and Suzy has never seen him as happy before.

She was actually thinking to move on but changed her mind when he joined his friends in the last seance. Suzy still didn't know about the entity and why he wouldn't stay away from Ralph.

So she stayed with Ralph when he was back to doubting himself.

"She has the amulet, stop blaming yourself."

"Right."

But Ralph was doing exactly that, he was blaming himself and Suzy finally left him as she knows her presence was useless.

Knowing she was safe with her amulet, he decided to go back to Shani and try to figure out more about the entity. He texted her from the small diner telling her that he's taking an early holiday. Madison didn't realize he left until the morning after when she wakes up alone and feeling the cold side of the bed beside hers.

Then she saw his text.

His favorite duffel bag was gone, his clothes, shoes, even his denim jacket was gone.

"What do you mean you're taking an early holiday?"

"Hey baby, I'm sorry it's so sudden but something happened last night when I took off your amulet. And Suzy said some things, now I'm on my way back to Shani to fix all of this. Just don't take off the amulet." "So, when are you coming back?"

"I think this might take a while, and the holidays are coming. So, I don't know..."

"Okay,"

"Look baby I love you, please know that."

"I love you too Ralph, thank you for looking out for me."

There was a sad feeling inside her, maybe she was being hormonal but she was teary while her other hand was holding her stomach. She ended the call as she feels the urge to throw up.

Morning sickness.

Moments later she throws up to nothing, just the gagging and nausea feel that made her sick to the point that she couldn't move from the bathroom floor.

That morning she decided to avoid eating and drink some hot milk instead. Madison finally gets out of the apartment just before lunch and decided to buy a test pack although she knows she must be pregnant already.

She has never felt so unsure about her life, she didn't even know how to proceed with her life not when she has a baby inside her. Ralph's.

Madison took a seat at the small cafe and order hot chocolate milk and some honey-dipped french toast. She was sticking to light meals, not wanting to throw up again.

Inside her purse were two packs of pregnancy kit that she bought from the pharmacy next door. She knows Ralph would be responsible, but will they be happy in the long run?

She wiped her tear and look outside of the small cafe window and try her best to finish her brunch. She sighed when she thinks about her parents, then Ralph's mom. And most of all thinking about how she could be too carried away with Ralph.

Two hours later she was back sitting on her bathroom floor, breaking, tears falling as she quietly sobbed when she saw the two pregnancy kits stating that she's pregnant.

Ralph had checked in on her when she reached her apartment, and she was lying telling him that she was fine.

That late afternoon she packed her bags and decided to also take an early vacation to her mom's just because she lives closer and Madison was too tired for the long drive to her dad's.

She needed to get away and clear her mind before she faces him and told him about being pregnant with his child.

Meanwhile, at that same time, Ralph was being scolded by Shani. She was telling him that he shouldn't leave her alone. Not in her condition. Though the double-meaning words were not getting through to Ralph as Shani kept Madison's words and let her pregnancy stay a secret.

"She's like this because of me."

"Can't argue there," Shani pursed her lips in annoyance. She was telling Ralph to go back, but he was stubborn as hell and wanted his issue to be resolved soonest.

"Ralph, if she said we wait then I really think you should wait."

Walter was there already, though Shani said the moon wasn't in the right position. The summoning could be a mess, and after the last one with Ralph, she was taking things more carefully. "I'll stay close, just call me..."

Shani cuts his words and looked at him when she told him to come back tomorrow night.

"Rain is coming here, he has gained more power and knowledge since his time with his king of hell. He should be able to help us."

"Thank you, I'll come back tomorrow." Ralph excused himself, he was tired from the worry and the drive when he decided to rest at a nearby hotel.

"Hey, I missed you, I love you. How are you?" Ralph called Madison as he was getting ready to end the day.

"Hey, miss you and love you too, I'm at my mom's. I don't feel like staying alone."

Ralph cursed on the inside once again blaming himself for being stupid and not just take her with him instead. But he was torn when Suzy told him that he should get away from her. "I'm sorry, I should've..."

"Have you talk to Shani?" Madison interrupted his words and asks about Shani.

"Yes, she's taking us, helping me with our issue and we're waiting for her witch friend, Rain, to come and help us tomorrow..."

The young couple talk for a little bit longer before they sleep alone thinking of each other.

Both worry for each other.
