Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3404 Seeking Help
Matthew followed Stellan into his office. He noticed several disheveled, ragged men standing inside as soon as they entered the office.
"These people claim to be from the overseas Marine Corps, and insist on meeting you," Stellan told Matthew while pointing to them. He appeared to be in good spirits and seemed much more at ease.
The personnel trained by the Martial League were now fully capable of managing the Martial League's operations.
Now, Stellan, as a president, no longer had to work late into the night but only needed to deal with a few major issues.
The ragged men immediately became agitated when they saw Matthew.
"We are the personnel from the Marine Corps assigned to transport supplies for Virtue Hall. We encountered a group of pirates when we were on our way. The captain knew that we couldn't possibly fight off those pirates, so he sent us to seek your help. Please, save the captain and the others!"
The disheveled vice-captain knelt before Matthew and bowed his head.
"You don't have to do that. Please get up." Matthew helped the vice-captain to his feet with a slight frown.
He had been sent a letter a couple of days ago informing him that the Marine Corps was mobilizing thirty tons of supplies that were supposed to set sail on a giant ship toward his location.
He hadn't expected that they would be hijacked by pirates along the way.
"Where exactly were you ambushed?" Matthew asked.
"On the western seas, not far from the West Montiria Islands!"
Matthew nodded and called out to the men outside. "Please take these guests to freshen up, and do your best to accommodate their needs."
After that, he turned to the vice-captain, saying, "Your mission is complete. Get some rest. I'll deal with the rest."
The vice-captain nodded, clearly trusting in Matthew.
Indeed, Matthew's reputation had already spread throughout the gang.
As a master-level expert in his twenties, he was alone enough to impress those in their sixties, and seventies who had yet to reach that level. Stellan fixed his glance at Matthew with curiosity after the few men left.
Matthew closed the door and turned to Stellan. "Mr. Warrington, have you heard of the West Montiria Islands?"
A pensive look crossed Stellan's face in response to Matthew's question.
After a long pause, he finally spoke slowly.
"I've heard a little about it. The West Montiria Islands are located in the open seas of the west. There are many islands there, and the factions are mixed. Numerous shady deals were taking place on those islands, and several countries had tried to wipe them out multiple times, but it seems like they always managed to get wind of the plans, and evacuate in advance.
"Whenever those countries invest vast resources to destroy

something, they only manage to take out a few buildings, which leads them to gradually ignore the West Montiria Islands. Although larger countries may have ambitions, they are surrounded by smaller nations that become fearful whenever a large power expresses any intent. Over time, the West Montiria Islands evolved into a hub for illicit trade, and the Marine Corps' cargo was likely seized by the Gallian pirates operating the area," Stellan said while taking a sip of water.
As he looked back at Matthew, he noticed the strange look in Matthew's eyes.
"Mr. Warrington, were you formerly the head of the intelligence department? Doubt filled in Matthew's eyes as he wondered if Stellan might be an undercover agent Whether in Dewsbury or West Montiria Islands, this guy might not have been completely precise, but he's pretty close. Could this knowledge really belong to an ordinary person?
