Mated To The Twin Alpha Heirs -
Save My Life
"This guy knows." Lucas had said that.
The whole room turned to look at him. If Greg had sent me this message, then who had told him? How did he know about the stealing incident?
"That's is it but how? Who might have told him?" Aaron asked.
"We need to go back and ask him. Torment him further." Baron angrily stood and was about to leave the room, I blocked his path. "What are you doing? We're trying to replace the truth here."
"I know but promise not to hit him or his friend."
He stared at me as though he could not believe what I was saying.
"Do you personally know those guys?" Aaron eyed me suspiciously.
"What does that matter?" I eyed him right back, but mine was challenging. I was not going to remain the girl they knew. It seemed my life was always going to be one issue or the other and it was about time to stand up for myself, but I would not be as ruthless as they were.
"How dare you?!" Aaron was close to me.
"How dare me what, Aaron?!" I spat at him.
"We're trying to help you, the best you can do it let us do what we do best." Baron was angered too.
"I appreciate your help but I will not stand and let you pummel them to death."
"So you prefer they would have raped you to death?!" Baron's eyes flashed in fury.
"But they did not." I replied.
"Only because we were there to save you." Aaron retorted.
"Are you both joining forces against me?" I raised a brow at both of me.
They seemed to realize that and moved away from the other. Baron came to pull me into a hug, I sighed and allowed him. He was a very important aspect of my life. Despite his roguish nature, Baron was a wonderful person. "I'm sorry, I just feel like snapping their necks especially that one that laid his hands on you. They could have raped you."
"I know and I'm grateful, but don't kill them. I don't have any issue with you trying to get answers from them but it would not help our case if we have two dead bodies on our hands."
"I think she's right, moreover, dad will be furious if he replaces out about this." Lucas put in.
Aaron stared at Baron and I, his expression was unreadable. I tamped guilt and hugged Baron tighter. "Let's all have a seat and talk this through." Baron announced.
We took our respective seats. "Do you know these guys from anywhere, Katherina?" Lucas inquired.
I sighed. "Yes, I do."
"From where? What's the relationship?" This was from Aaron.
"Greg had made it his life's work to harass me especially after I turned down a friends with sexual benefits relationship he proposed. He was in my former pack."
"Moon Rock?" Zach inquired.
"Yes, Moon Rock."
"Why did you not report to anyone?" Baron wanted to know.
"Because my pack members already hated me due to my wolf-less state, they despised my mom and I. Also, Greg is the Alpha's son and Bryan, his accomplice and best friend, is the Beta's son." "That Alpha is scared of dad, we could tell him." Zach suggested.
"No, let's not." I opposed. I did not want anything to take me back to that pack. And the stress, it was not worth it.
"Why?" Zach looked surprised.
"Because it would expose this crime this guy had threatened me with."
Zach seemed to ponder on this. "Good point."
"So what do you suggest we do at this point?" Lucas inquired, looking at my face.
"If we can just replace out who told him of that crime. Greg is not from here and there was no way he would have known except a member of this pack told him."
"Not just a member. A student of Stone Shadow academy." Zach infused.
I agreed with that but who? Who would have told him?
"You said you asked him to meet you in school, Lucas?" I turned to Baron who had asked the question.
My gaze darted to Lucas who agreed. "Yes, it says so from our chat."
"So do you think he might have gone to school without telling you and possibly met someone with a loose tongue?" Baron had his gaze on his younger brother, Lucas who was matching his stare unblinkingly. "That is a possibility. But who? Who would be so careless to do that?" Aaron growled.
"Maybe the same person that gave him your number?" I guessed.
"That might be true because I've been asking him how he got my number, he refused to say." Lucas said, looking a bit thoughtful.
"But if someone from this pack gave him your number, then it means he already knows his way around this pack. Is it sensible if I say that he might not have had any directions from anyone?" Lucas' expression read perplexity.
This whole thing was getting confusing and more complex. Time was ticking and there were two battered, almost half dead bodies in an empty room. By morning, those guys should be out of this pack and everything returned to normal. Moreover, we had school today. "What's the time, Baron?"
"Two forty five." He replied.
"It's late guys, we have school in few hours time. Let's all go to bed."
"School is already cancelled." Aaron said.
"Why? And why was I not informed of this?" I was getting upset, why would they make decisions without me?
"We have this case to solve, Katherina." Lucas was trying to make me see reason.
"But it should not stop our education. Our daily routine." I argued.
"So you'd prefer going to school when you're not sure of what's going on? In case you missed it, these guys went to school. None of us know who they have been taking to and what has been planned. The danger you might be in if we try to handle this carelessly and without any seriousness." Zach countered.
He had a point. "Fine. Let's miss school and save my life."
