Mommy, My Daddy Is A Billionaire CEO -
Chapter 31
Meanwhile, when Nicholas and Debby stepped their foots into the living room of the huge mansion, they came face to face with Arthur, who had a glass of wine in his hand. He was seated majestically on a kingly size couch. "Where is my son, Arthur, where is Fred?" Debby asked as soon as she saw Arthur. She was extremely impatient to see her son.
Arthur didn't like the fact that Debby came here with someone, worst, a male. He stood slowly, fully composed and stared demeaningly at Nicholas. "Who is this young man?" Arthur looked at Debby and asked.
"This is Nicholas and he is my friend." Debby replied in one breath.

"I couldn't afford to come here alone, which is why I came with him. Please Arthur, where is my son." Debby was almost at the verge of shedding tears. Does this man even have a heart at all? Debby thought to herself. She didn't even know what condition her son is now.
"Fred is okay. I hired a good doctor to handle him and he is getting better." He pointed to the left wing. "He is right at the third room over there." Just when Debby and Nicholas were about heading towards the direction, Arthur commanded, "stop!"
At once, Nicholas and Debby paused and turned to Arthur, wondering why he suddenly demanded of them to stop.
"You can go to see your son alone and not with him," Arthur said to Debby, glacing at Nicholas as if he has a grudge against him.
"He came with me and we will both go over to see my son,"
Debby said.
Arthur thought for a while and when something clicked on his mind, he smirked meaningfully and nodded, signalling that the both can go in.
When Debby and Nicholas arrived at the room, Debby rushed over to Fred's side and noticed that his temperature was cool. Fred's countenance looked perfectly fine. Upon seeing this, there was a huge sigh of relief from Debby. "My son is fine. I'm so happy," Debby covered her face, trying to block the tears of joy that almost fall from her eyes.
Arthur then walked in.
"I am taking him back with me and you would not object to that." Debby turned to Arthur at once.
Suddenly, she heard a loud thud to the ground and when she looked down, Debby screamed, seeing Nicholas laying unconscious to the floor. Everything happened so fast. Arthur had just hit Nicholas with a big fire extinguisher. "What are you doing? You just made him absolutely unconscious." Debby screamed in shock and fright.
Forgetting that her son was here. Arthur smirked and dropped the extinguisher to the floor.
"Welcome to my abode once more Debby." Arthur commented, spreading his arms wide.
"You are hurting me by not making this work. All I ask for, is that you simply make the both of us work again. I am not asking too much my darling." Arthur said.
"You are a monster, Arthur, an abomination that needs to be purged off humanity." Debby cursed but Arthur laughed a wicked laugh.
"It is been a long time that I feel your warn hugs, your sexy lips, I missed all these things. Did you say I'm becoming a monster? It's because of the love I have for you. The love I have for you is driving me crazy." Arthur said and began to approach her, he had a look of l**t on his face.
"You are becoming disgusting, Arthur. "Debby said and added," all these acts of yours will only make me hate you more.
"Debby said, her statement, made Arthur pause. All he wanted was for Debby to love her again but he kept doing it the wrong way.
He hummed and said, "we can not keep discussing here because of Fred. He's still asleep and the doctor said he needs lots of rest. How about we go outside and talk." He eased down the tension that was slowly creeping in.
"I am not leaving this room without my son." Debby took her stand.
"Okay, will you like to take something? Please, at least before you leave. I'm not so bad." Arthur said. Debby again shook her head to imply no.
Arthur sighed and walked out of the room.
A few minutes later, Fred woke up from his sleeping state, looking around the strange room and wondering how he got here.
When Debby saw that her son was awake, she rushed to hug him, with tears in her eyes.
"Are you okay darling? Are you hurt? Are you weak?" Debby threw series of question at the young boy, who simply maintained his calm composure.
"Mom, I am fine.". One man came and took me out of the hospital. He had a grumpy face and I don't like him." Fred said.
Debby smiled at her son's words.
"Don't worry darling, all will be well." She hugged him deafly.
"That man who had a grumpy face is Arthur by name and he is only full of lies lying, do not believe a word he had told you or will say to you, okay?" Debby asked and he nodded.
Debby held Fred in his cool palm softly and got him out of the bed then they made their way out of the room.
She had been waiting for Fred to wake all this while so they can head home together. There was no way she can carry him home in his sleepy state without awaking him. And since the doctor had suggested he needs lots of rest, she had to wait patiently. When they arrived at the door of the living room, Debby noticed that the door was locked. She was confused at first and several attempt at making sure that the door would open but all to no avail. She suddenly received a text from Arthur, indicating that she should give up about leaving the house, till she was able to accept his proposal.
What silly proposal? Debby thought to herself and looked around to see if Arthur is standing somewhere and watching her.
Debby groaned in frustration. She could sense the desperation that was longing in the heart of Arthur and it irritated her. She began to wonder how she would be able to get out of the mansion. She had planned on leaving then coming with a few Police to save Nicholas.
"Fred, wait for me here, please. I will be right back." She assured her son and immediately head towards the room that Fred had been. She figured Nicholas was still unconscious. Debby sighed and knew that she needed to face up with Arthur and make her mind known to him.
Some things are too late to work out, Debby mumbled to herself.
