Chapter 1693

Everyone fell silent when they heard Keegan's words.

Stella wore a look of utter disbelief, "What did you just say?"

Keegan maintained his indifference, "When I arrived, I saw news of you kissing Marshall in the concert hall. Did you divorce me because you got involved with him?"

Trevor's face turned cold, "Keegan, are you out of your mind? It's fine if others don't get it, but you should know what kind of person Stella is. What nonsense are you spouting?"

Stella's expression turned unpleasant. She thought Keegan was jealous due to those rumors. However, he said, "I'm sorry. I don't remember much. I was just making wild guesses without any offense intended."

After a pause, he continued, "Trevor, are you close with my ex-wife? You seem to know her quite well." 2 Trevor was dumbfounded, "She's my sister. What's wrong with you? Are you out of your mind?" "Sister?" Keegan was puzzled. "Isn't your sister Jaylene?"

It was then that the group noticed that something was wrong with Keegan.

His appearance, tone, and behavior were consistent with the past, but how he looked at Stella differed. His gaze lacked the previous tenderness and warmth he reserved only for his beloved. Instead, it carried a cold detachment and unfamiliarity he had for other people. "Keegan," Stella watched him closely with teary eyes as she noticed every subtle expression on his face. "What happened to you? What are you saying? Don't you remember accompanying me to the banquet where they announced my return to the Saun family?"

Keegan furrowed his brows. "Banquet?" He tried hard to recall, but his head started to hurt, turning his face pale.

Jaylene hurriedly helped him press a certain acupoint on his head and anxiously said, "Keegan, stop thinking about it. Have you forgotten what the doctor said?"

1 She turned to Stella and said, "Stella, don't force Keegan to remember. He suffered a head injury, and the doctor said it might have affected his brain, causing memory loss. There are many things he can't remember..."

"Shut up!" Stella yelled in anger and grabbed Jaylene by the collar. Her eyes were red, and her voice was hoarse, "What have you done to him? Why did you lock him up and keep him away from us? What happened to him? Tell me!"

Suddenly, someone grabbed her wrist.

"You're hurting her." 3 Stella froze. She looked at Keegan in disbelief and asked," What did you say?"

Keegan would have never said such a thing to her back then. He would have supported her actions.

But now, he wore a cold expression. He looked at Stella and calmly stated, "I said you're hurting her. Jaylene didn't lock me up; I told her not to tell anyone that she found me. I was in critical condition at the time. Other than that, I wanted to replace out who was behind my kidnapping."

After a pause, he continued, "You seem very concerned about me. But where were you during my disappearance?" Keegan chuckled slightly, a hint of mockery on his face. " Attending a concert with someone?"

Stella turned pale as she clenched her fingers.
