Chapter 20 Are You Rich?

Mr. Thornsby saw Maisy silent and grew bold in his lust.

He started to tear Maisy’s shirt.

A rip was heard before he grabbed the woman’s buttons. Her fair and supple skin was revealed…

Maisy started crying in fright.

“Mr. Thornsby, don’t do this, I beg you…”

Mr. Thornsby was overcome by lust and ignored the woman’s pleading.

He removed his pants and grinned maliciously as he threw himself on Maisy…

At this moment, footsteps were heard outside the alley.

Neil knew Skyler Hudson had brought the police with him!

“If someone is meddling, say that we’re in a relationship and you’re doing this voluntarily, alright?”

She would lose her job if she offended Mr. Thornsby. He might even retaliate against her!

She was a timid woman, and she chose to give in.

Mr. Thornsby turned to take a look. Oh no, the police are here!

He wanted to leave Maisy behind and escape…

At this time, Neil quickly walked out of a dark corner in the alley and kicked Mr. Thornsby’s fleshy butt.

Mr. Thornsby swore but suddenly realized a tall figure stood before him.

Skyler led two police officers to the alley.

“Quick, over here. Someone is being a hoodlum!”

Two police officers came to the scene. They saw Maisy crying with unkempt clothes and Mr. Thornsby, whom Neil was stepping on. Mr. Thornsby’s belt was undone, and his hefty face was wailing…

The police officers immediately understood what was going on.

They took Mr. Thornsby and Maisy to the police station.

After that, they spoke to Skyler and Neil.

“Thank you for providing clues and standing up for the truth. When you’re free, make a statement at the police station.”

“No problem. I’ll go there later,” Neil said.

He had witnessed the entire process in the alley and could act as a witness to testify against Mr. Thornsby.

The police officers left.

Skyler punched Neil on the shoulder, “Good job, dude. You really caught him. Do you know how afraid I was if I had made a false report?”

Neil smiled. “Thanks, bro!”

Those in county towns couldn’t buy the latest mobile phones even if they had the money!

Neil couldn’t afford it.

Communication was inconvenient without mobile phones.

Neil could only look for his only good friend in Cloubury, Skyler, to help him.

He had watched Mr. Thornsby’s movements in the alley and stopped him from doing anything to Maisy.

At the same time, Skyler went to report it at the police station and led the police officers there.

After that, Neil and Skyler left the alley and entered a diner.

Neil told Skyler about the songs Neil had written.

Neil ordered food and two bottles of beer before asking casually.

starve.”

Neil put down the menu and smiled. “Start a special promotion. Give consumers a certain discount if they spend a certain amount. I’m sure people will come in hordes.”

Neil explained patiently, “I’m not asking you to go into a discount war. I’m saying to give a discount when customers have spent enough money. For example, if they spend 3999 in cash,

they will get a 299 discount. If they spend 6999 in cash, they will get a discount of 699 in cash. Many customers will be eager to take advantage of this and be willing to buy many electrical appliances at once. Wouldn’t it be advantageous for you?”

Skyler was lost in thought.

Before Neil brought it up, there were three types of promotions in Cloubury. It was usually special prices, discounts, and free gifts.

The waitress served them two bottles of beer.

Neil poured the beer into the mugs. He picked up his fork and tapped it against the glass.

“What are you afraid of? Don’t you have me? You can use your shop’s sound system. I’ll be your host and sing for you. I guarantee customers will fill your store!”

When Skyler heard it, he said, surprised, “That’s amazing! Thanks, Neil!”
