"It doesn't end there," she said firmly.

"You just wait, Anne. I don't think you can be so lucky again and again,” said Bianca.

"Are you in a better mood now?" Anthony asked.

"What?" Anne was surprised by his question. "Because of her apology? Do I need it? Anthony, youdon't have to invite her here to insult me!"

Anthony's face turned cold, and he stood up, storming out of the room. The door slammed shutbehind him.

Anne was clearly in a bad mood.

Even though Anne was married to Anthony, he apparently had other ideas about Bianca.

Even if she saw through Bianca's tricks, the “Bianca’ on the phone, the coincidence that they went toAthetin together, and Anthony answering Bianca's call in the middle of the night... they could notjust cut off their relationship just because of Anne's presence, could they?

The fact was that Anthony liked Bianca, and Anne was just the object of his control and torture. After three days in the hospital for an intravenous drip, she went to get a scan, and the blood clothad disappeared.

Anne held out a hand in front of her face and said, "But I still can't see light. Why..."

"Although the blood clot has disappeared, it still takes some time to fully recover.” Dr. Brown said,"Don't worry, you will be fine."

After Dr. Brown left, Anthony held her hand and said, "Even if you can't see anything, you still haveme. I'll be your eyes. Okay?"

Anne repulsively withdrew her hand, refusing to acknowledge it.

Anthony looked at her indifferently, his black eyes sinking.

He picked her up and carried her back to the room. Anne lay still on the bed. She hoped her eyeswould get better soon. Otherwise, she would be unable to do anything.

"Actually, this is pretty good. At least you can't run away,” Anthony said, pinching her jaw andlooking at her domineeringly.

Anne's whole body trembled at the sound of his cloudy and uncertain voice. Anthony was so scary!"Don't be afraid. As long as you don't run away, I will treat you well," he said, his voice hoarse.Anne waved her hand, trying to push his hand away from her chin. "Anthony, do you replace thisinteresting? What's the difference between you... and those uncivilized villagers? Why do you alwaysforce me? I don't want to! I don't want to do this...!" Tears rolled down from her unfocused pupils. She could not see, but there was great sadness in her eyes.

"Why don't you want to?" Anthony asked quietly, his face calm

"Because I hate you! I hate you very much!" Anne repeated emotionally. Yes, those unexplainableemotions were annoying! How could she like someone she had always hated? This was killing her!Anthony's black eyes flashed sullenly, and he growled in a suppressed voice, "Then bear with it!"Anne's anger suddenly lost its steam and became powerless, leaving her with a dull expression andtears

Afterward, Anthony left the ward. Anne stayed in the ward and was attended to by a nurse.

She knew Anthony had not shown up all day. She would have felt his presence all the time if hewere there.

When it was time for bed, the nurse did not leave, staying with Anne throughout the night.

In the dead of night, everyone in the ward was sleeping.

The door of the ward was pushed open silently, and the black shadow entered and walked straightto the bed.

Feeling the strong pressure around her, the nurse could not help but open her eyes.
