Chapter 290

Half-way through the meal, Chloe wanted to go to the washroom.

Not wanting to trouble the nanny, Anne took her to the washroom and walked past another roomon their way back.

A waiter happened to be walking out and Anne turned to look, only to be startled by the sight ofBianca and Michelle. She immediately picked Chloe up and hurried back to their room.

Chloe shot Anne a confused look. "Mama?"

"It's okay."

Once they were inside the room, Lucas noticed the odd look on Anne's face. "What's wrong? Sawsomeone you know?"

"Bianca and Michelle," she said, "didn't expect to see them here.”

"Did they see you?"

"No. They were inside a room."

"There's nothing to worry about, then.” Lucas scowled. "What a coincidence.”

After dinner, Lucas went to drive the car around while the nanny took the triplets into the car.Anne was the last to leave.

She stopped when she walked past one of the rooms and went inside.

The two women inside had thought that it was a rude waitress who came in, but were bothimmediately on guard when they turned and saw who came inside.

"How dare you show your face in front of me again, Anne?" Michelle was more hot-tempered, butBianca was calmer.

"I have to admire you for being able to walk around like nothing happened even after replaceing outyou can't be a mother!”

"What pathetic. A hen that can't lay eggs!" Michelle mocked.

Anne studied their smug faces calmly and said, "What will Anthony think if he replaces out that the twoof you have been plotting together?"

Bianca remained composed. "He will believe me, no matter what I do. Besides, acting against youisn't what he would define as wrong.”

"If you really don't care, you wouldn't have lied, or do you want Anthony to know what a viciouswoman you are?" Anne said, taking in the dark expression on Bianca's face, before turning toMichelle. "I still saw you here and there on television a while back, but you've completelydisappeared, haven't you? I'm guessing that you two are meeting here because you haven't reacheda consensus about this, right?"

Michelle looked away, because Anne was right. Bianca had not been able to fulfill her end of thebargain and simply brushed her off time and time again, saying that Anthony was still angry withMichelle.

"Anne, seems like you haven't learned your lesson even after losing your uterus.” The resentmentBianca held towards Anne deepened.

"What do you mean? Help me out and I will leave Luton right away. I'll never show up in front ofyou and Anthony," Anne said. "Anthony has my passport and identification card. They are in theRoyal Mansion. Help me get them and I will leave. How does that sound?"

Bianca considered it and was disgusted by the fact that she did not know Anne's possession was inthe Royal Mansion.

"Why do you think I would stay here if he didn't confiscate my passport and identification card?""Are you trying to say that Anthony doesn't want you to leave?" Bianca's face twisted viciously. "Hejust did it to torture you.”

"If you already know that, why bother getting angry?" Anne stood up. "Call me when you've madeup your mind. By the way, don't steal them. Ask Anthony for them instead.”

As soon as she stepped out of the room, she heard noises of things being thrown across the room.Anne walked out of the club and saw the car waiting in the distance. She hurried over and gotinside, before saying sheepishly, "Sorry, have you guys been waiting?"

Chloe, who was sitting on Lucas's lap, looked up and crawled toward Anne. "What were you doing?""I went to the washroom.” Anne shot Lucas a look, but did not explain any further.

Meanwhile, inside the room.

All the plates on the table, including the vase, had been shattered.

Though Michelle was arrogant, she cowered before her superior and when Bianca was losing hertemper, all she could do was stand aside in silence.

"Anne Vallois, how dare she come talk to me like that? She's nothing but a homewrecker," Biancagritted out, desperately wishing she could tear Anne into pieces.

"I hate her, too, but what is she here? Was she alone? Could it be that she was with..." Michellepurposely tried to provoke Bianca.

"That's not possible! Anthony is still in the Archduke Group.”

"Bianca, just be more careful! Anne is really good at seducing men..."

Bianca hated nothing more than to hear others mentioning Anthony and another woman andwould not tolerate anyone for doing so.

Michelle quieted down at Bianca's malicious glare.

"I am curious about who she came here with as well. Go get the manager,” Bianca commanded.“Damn it, am I your maid or something?’ Michelle thought to herself angrily.

The manager came shortly after and Bianca said, "I want to watch the surveillance footage here."
