Chapter 528

'You can't enter.” 'l simply want to enter today. Kill me then!"

The bodyguards dutifully stood in front of her door and refused to let her enter.

“Can't you hear what I said? Are you guys deaf? Do you believe that I'll call the police!" Sarahthreatened them, but they remained motionless. She knew that this trick would not work, so sheused her might and main to rush forward. “Let me in! Let me go in!"

Anne, who was leaning against the headboard and was about to doze off, was woken up by thecommotion outside. Was that not her mother's voice?

Why would her mother be here?

Anne wanted to move, but she could not even do any big movements, let alone get out of bed.The argument outside got more and more aggressive. Without a choice, Anne was afraid that Sarahwould get hurt so she grabbed the cup on the table and smashed it on the ground as hard as shecould.

That loud smash stunned Sarah and the bodyguards outside.

Sarah took the chance and ran into the ward.

As soon as she entered, she was stunned when she saw Anne on the bed.

The bodyguards rushed in and wanted to pull Sarah away.

Anne saw that and shouted, "Don't touch her!"

The bodyguards hesitated.

Just leave. I'll bear the consequences if anything happens,” said Anne.

The bodyguards knew who Sarah was and there would not be any danger, so they left.

After all, none of them wanted to offend Anne.

Sarah instantly cried when she saw Anne's arm that was bandaged and the scratches on the areas ofher skin that were exposed.

"Mom, I'm fine," Anne said in a hurry.

"You're still insisting that you're fine..." Sarah sobbed continuously.

"Mom, don't cry. I feel great. It just looks scary..."

Sarah went up to Anne and hugged her. "Are you trying to scare me to death? You silly child..."Anne gently hugged her back. “It's fine. Really. I'll be discharged in a few more days."

Sarah finally calmed down with great difficulty. She released her and tidied her messy hair for her.Her eyes were reddened with tears welling up. "You fell from the helicopter, yet you said you're fine? You even hid it from me. That's too outrageous.”

"You have just woken up, so I didn't want to frighten you."

"Am I not frightened now?"

Anne smiled. "Is this considered a blessing in disguise?"

'What blessing in disguise?”

"It's true. Initially, I didn't even know when I could see you again, but I can see you now,” said Anne."If this is the case, then I would rather not have US “see’ each other in this way," Sarah said unhappily.

"Mom, is your body alright?” Anne asked, "You've only just been awake a few days ago, but you're able to be discharged already?"I can be discharged from the hospital tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Actually, I'm already alright, but they insist on being onthe safe side. What could actually happen? Would I not be able to feel if my body was well or not?” Sarah felt that they were justmaking a big deal out of nothing. After that, she glanced at the door of the ward as if she had thought of something andwhispered, "Where's Anthony?"

I don't know. I was sleeping,” said Anne.

Since he is not here, just come and leave with me!” Sarah stood up and started to pack her things for her.

"Mom, don't-" Before she finished her sentence, her phone next to her rang. She took a look at it and saw that it was Nigel calling,so she answered the call, "Dad."

Nigel's voice sounded anxious. “Is your mother with you?"
