Chapter 634

“Mr. Marwood is not available right now,” The bodyguard said.

Anne asked, “Is Bianca awake yet?”

“I don’t know.”

Anne wanted to beg the bodyguard to let her in, but the bodyguard would only follow Anthony'sorders.

If Anthony would not let anyone in, then that included her.

If she barged in and disturbed Bianca, who was injured, this would only intensify Anthony'spunishment for her.

Anne had to hold back for now and go to Dr. Brown's office.

She asked about Bianca's condition.

“Is it serious?”

“The concussion is quite serious, but don’t worry, it's not life-threatening,” Dr. Brown said. Anne didnot know if this was considered a comfort, but anyway, she was rather unlucky. She could not seeAnthony, so she helplessly explained to Dr. Brown. “She was the one who grabbed my arm, and Iwas just trying to release myself from her grip. I really did not push her, and she fell on her own.Bianca is setting me up!”

Dr. Brown was just a doctor who treated patients. She did not expect there to be such a conflict.“Did Anthony look as if he wanted to kill someone?” Anne asked timidly.

"Don't be afraid. No matter what, you still have three children in the house. Mr. Marwood won't doanything to you.”

“But... But I did not push her! Why should I have to bear the consequences?” Anne said anxiously.“Calm down. I believe Mr. Marwood will have the ability to judge the truth. It's best that you don'tgo into the ward right now, it'll be as if you're seeking your own death.”

Anne felt hopeless, annoyed, and panicked.

What kind of judgment would he have?

He would only judge by what he sees!

Anne did not say anything and left Dr. Brown's office.

She did not go to Bianca's ward as she was unable to meet the person she wanted to see.

She followed Mr. Brown's advice and left the hospital.

With such a harmonious scene they had last night, she thought things would have gone in a goodway.

She really was overthinking.

How could Bianca sit back and do nothing when she could take advantage of the

relationship between her and Anthony?

That phone call from Bianca... Even if Anthony knew the content of it, he would probably just let itbe...

She leaned lifelessly on the sofa with a cushion in her arms. With her eyes closed, she thought abouthow to save herself.

As Dr. Brown said, it was probably true that Anthony would not do anything to her, but he mightforbid her from seeing her children.

Such a punishment was too severe for Anne.

Anne could not believe that she was so preoccupied with her worrisome thoughts that she fellasleep. When she woke up, it was already afternoon.

What was the situation in the hospital now?

Anthony had not looked for her, so he was probably taking care of Bianca at the moment.Suddenly, a knock on the door lifted Anne's heart upwards. She stared at the door as if there was afrightful beast at the door that would barge at any moment.

Without having to open the door, the knocking sound was enough to make Anne guess who it was.A door could not shut out Anthony's terrifying aura.

She dared not keep him waiting, so she got up and opened the door.

Outside the door, Anthony stood oppressively, his black eyes full of anger.

Anne tried to explain, “It has nothing to do with me. She fell down by herself, she... Ah!"

Anthony entered the door, grabbed her by her neck, and pushed her in.

Anne fell straight to the ground. “Ah!”

"You are really stuck in your old ways, huh! If it weren't for the sake of the children, I would havethrown you down from the fifth floor!” Anthony looked down from above, his eyes full of ferocity.Anne shivered from the bottom of her heart. She did not get up but just looked up at him, and herheart sank. “Why don’t you believe me? She's setting me up!”

“Do you think I'm blind?” Anthony growled.
