"Much better. Kathryn said I could get out of bed in two days. But that's only to leave the bed, and Iwish to be discharged. It's boring here," Bianca said helplessly.

Dorothy then said, "Why are you bored? Anthony is here to see you. Only if you recover, Anthonywould not be worried about you!"

"Yes." Bianca's eyes were gentle.

Dorothy saw that Anthony had taken a seat and could not wait to express what was on her mind. She asked, "Is Chloe better now? I was just speaking to Bianca about visiting the kids. No matterwhat, the kids will be my grandchildren too, when Bianca is married to you."

"She is fine now," Anthony said.

Dorothy looked relieved and said, "That is great to hear. I want to spend time with the kids first sothat when you have your own kids, I will be more experienced at babysitting them.”

Bianca peeked at Anthony, then complained about her mother. "Our kids? That would be after weget married.”

"It is not too early for you to get married anyway! Marriage will naturally follow the engagement.”Dorothy paused, then asked Anthony, "Anthony, you did not manage to register that time. Did youmanage to book another appointment?”

There was an odd silence after she asked that.

The mother and daughter both had their hearts beating like drums

Bianca was anticipating Anthony's reply nervously.

After a while, Anthony replied, "Not in a rush.”

"I thought you had plans already.” Dorothy laughed to cover up the awkwardness.

"We will see after Bianca recovers.” Anthony did not have much expression on his face.

"Sure, she must recover first before getting that sorted out.” Dorothy's hanging heart was groundedagain.

Bianca's face was finally not stiff anymore.

"Great, both of you have a good time here. I will go out for a walk," Dorothy said and left.

Bianca said apologetically, "Anthony, I am sorry. My mother kept asking me about this, so I ignoredher. I did not expect her to ask you herself.”

"No worries."

Bianca had always been used to his brief replies, but she was still not feeling grounded about it.She especially remembered when Anthony said not to go to the Royal Mansion for the time being."Anthony, are you still angry at me?" She asked, "I did not handle things well enough that day andallowed Sarah to make a scene there. However, Anne slapped me, and I was innocent. No matterwhat, I am your fiance. She could not behave this way. People would be under the impression thatshe was the actual lady owner of the Royal Mansion.”

"She was indeed... not well behaved."

Bianca blurted out. "Yes, I hope Chloe will not turn out to be like her.”

Anthony's dark eyes squinted. He had such a strong aura even the air around them froze.

Bianca realized that she had said something wrong. After all, Chloe was not the same as Anne. "Imean, Chloe has a good character. She is smart, like you. She will definitely grow up to be our classyMs. Marwood."

"Just rest and recover. You don't have to worry about the rest."

"Right, understand that."

Anthony walked out of the hospital entrance when he saw Nigel coming over anxiously. When hesaw Anthony, he asked, "Where is Anne?"

Anthony frowned. "What do you mean?"

"I could not reach her phone, neither can I reach her mother's. I went to Anne's place and then tothe mansion, but they were nowhere to be found. Did you do this?" Nigel interrogated, "Anthony, ifyou dare lay a finger on them, I will not forgive you!"

Anthony realized that something was wrong. He then remembered Anne's cold smile after theapology. His face immediately fell.

He picked up his phone and called Oliver. "Find out where Anne is."

He hung up and then said to Nigel, "Don’t worry, she can't go anywhere.”

His tone was dominant and forceful.

Then, he went into the car.
