"Swear all you want, but it means nothing," Bianca said as she stared at Anne with contempt. "Youpretended to be my dad's daughter to gain his trust. I'm sure you've gotten quite a lot out of himalready, right? Whatever he gave you in the past or promised you through his will, none of them arevalid anymore!"

"Dream on!" Sarah refused to allow it.

"The paternity test results are right here. You can't deny them!" Dorothy said.

Anne turned around and stared at Nigel, who remained unconscious on the bed.

Could it truly be a misunderstanding?

She resembled her mother and did not look much like Nigel, so one could not say with certaintythat they were related by looks alone, unlike the way with Chris, Charlie and Anthony. However, herheart still ached.

She cared and loved Nigel with all her heart; could such emotion blossom simply because they wereonce proved to be related by a piece of paper.

She refused to believe that and knew that they must have instinctively known that they were relatedby blood.

"I'm Dad's daughter. Something must have gone wrong. He is allergic to seafood and so am I. Acoincidence wouldn't explain this,” Anne said.

"Is he allergic? He just doesn't like seafood!" Dorothy denied it.

"He doesn't dislike it. He's allergic. I'm the only one who knows and he told no one else about it."She turned around to face Kathryn. "Something must have gone wrong! Dad went for a paternitytest as well, so why are the results different from yours? Someone must have messed up!"

"Kathryn words for Anthony. Are you trying to say that Anthony tempered with the results?"Dorothy questioned sharply.

"I'm not saying that. I mean that maybe there's been an error during the process.”

"You are out of line here. How could someone as experienced as Kathryn make such a mistake?"Dorothy retorted.

"I know that you won't give up easily," Bianca said, "so I found a witness to prove that the results mydad got before were fake." She took out her phone to make a call. "You can come to the ward now."A few minutes later, a man in a decent outfit appeared.

Bianca introduced him to the others. "This is the man who did the paternity test for my dad. Tellthem what happened.”

The doctor glanced at Sarah hesitantly.

Annoyed, Bianca said, "Just speak up.”

"Yes...someone paid me to forge the paternity test results.”

Both Sarah and Anne's jaws dropped.

"Who? Is that person here in this room?”

The doctor scanned the others before pointing at Sarah. "That's her.”

Startled, Sarah gaped. "I don't even know you! When have I pay you to do such a thing?"

Dorothy came to a realization. "I get it. Did Sarah give you her own blood to do the test? Of course,there would be a match."

"Yes, she told me to turn a blind eye on it," the doctor said.

"I didn't do it!" Sarah said angrily. "I didn't do it! I didn't even know that Nigel went for a paternitytest!"

"Who would believe you? You went on the internet and announced that you had a daughter withNigel as soon as he did the paternity test. What a perfect plan!" Dorothy said sarcastically.

Bianca took out a contract and placed it on the table, before passing her a pen. "Sign this, and youwill have nothing to do with Dad's inheritance.”
