Chapter 725

Anne found it strange. A member of her father's family?

She could not help but look at Dorothy, who was at the side. After all, Dorothy was the Faye family'sdaughter-in-law, so she might have met him before.

“I'll come over immediately.”

After Anne hung up the call, Bianca asked, “What's the matter with Dad?"

Anne ignored her and looked at Dorothy. “Is there anybody else in Dad's family? I have never heardhim mentioning it before.”

Dorothy pursed her lips. “He’s an orphan. How could there be anybody else in his family?”

"Are you certain that there aren't any other members in his family?” Anne asked again.

“I'm very certain!” said Dorothy, “Since the moment we got married until Bianca was born, I've neverheard him mentioning his family!”

Anne frowned. Who was the person who barged into the ward then?

“It's better for us to first go to the ward to see before we discuss further!”

She asked Hayden to bring the triplets back while the four of them went to the ward.

Sure enough, as soon as they entered the ward, they saw a man standing by the bed.

Anne was slightly stunned when she saw the man's face. She had the impression that she had seenhim when she was walking toward the parking lot.

She thought that he was just a person who had nothing to do with her.

"Are you...are you a member of my father's family? But my father has never mentioned that he hada family,” said Anne.

"He is an orphan,” said Dorothy.

Corentin only took a glance at them. “He had a conflict with the family and he was kicked out of theLloyd family. Of course, he would say that he has no family. Let me introduce myself. My name isCorentin Lloyd. I'm Nigel's younger brother,” said Corentin while he sat down on the chair at theside at the same time. He crossed his long legs casually and placed both his hands in front of himwith his fingers interlocked. His posture was very casual.

Both Dorothy and Bianca looked at each other.

Younger brother? Would that not mean that he was Anne and Bianca's uncle?

Why would their uncle suddenly appear?

“Are you really my uncle? Why haven't you appeared in the past?” Bianca asked.

Anne asked, “Is it because something happened to my father?”

“That's right,” said Corentin.

If that was the case, then it would make sense.

Almost everybody's temper would be like that-when someone was fine, the anger felt toward thatperson would still exist. However, if that person was no longer fine, then every ill feeling couldvanish without a trace.

However, what kind of family could be so heartless?

They pretended that her father did not exist for a few decades. Not a single person from the familyhad cared to attend his wedding and show concern for his children. What kind of family was that? When Anne was spacing out, Dorothy and Bianca were observing Corentin. Judging by histemperament and his men outside the door, they could tell that he was no ordinary man.
