Anne was slightly taken aback, and she thought it was rented

It was also her first time on a yacht.

Only rich people could afford to be on yachts.

An ordinary person like her could not afford to be on one.

“Mama, hurry up and get on the boat with us. I want to play!” Charlie shouted excitedly.

Anne smiled and was about to say “yes’ when her phone rang.

She thought it was a call from work but the call was from Dr. Brown.

“What's wrong?

Was it good or bad news...

She stepped aside to answer. “Hello?”

“Mes. Vallois, your mother fell in the ward and suffered a head injury.”

“What?” Anne raised her heart.

“Do not worry. It's been dealt with. It's just a slight concussion, and she needs some rest.”

“I'll be there right away.” Anne hung up the phone and looked back at Anthony. Looking at thetriplets, she could not bear to tell them she was leaving because they did not have many chances tocome out to have fun together. She walked up to Anthony and said in a low voice, “Why do not youtake the children to play? I have something to do, and I might not be able to go.”

“What's the matter?” Anthony's black eyes were cold.

“My mother fell in the ward and suffered a slight concussion. I have to go back and have a look.”After Anne finished speaking, she looked at Anthony nervously for fear that he would not agree.She could go on the yacht if forced, but she would be very restless along the journey.

“Take them up first,” Anthony ordered the bodyguards.

The bodyguards went to the yacht with the triplets in their arms.

"Come quickly, Papa and Mama!” Chloe was still calling.

Looking into Anthony's eyes, Anne said, “You won't let me return, right?”

“There are doctors and nurses there. What's the use of you going?” Anthony wore a meanexpression

Anne knew she was a party pooper, but she did not want this to happen.

“But she’s my mother... You take the children and have fun, I'll be here the next time, okay?”"Either stay with the children, or there won't be a next time.” Anthony had a sullen face.

Anne lowered her gaze. “Sorry, I'm going to go back...” She turned and left.

Anthony's face was dark, and he grabbed her wrist and dragged her back.

Anthony's expression was cold, and his eyes darkened. “That sounds nice.” He let go of her. “I'll havesomeone take you back, and I'll see you here tomorrow.”

After finishing speaking, he turned and went to the yacht.

Anne was stunned. What did he mean? Was he going to wait here with the children?

Thinking that Anthony would make the proper arrangements, she went to the car.

Anthony's bodyguard drove her back.

More than an hour later, Anne returned to the hospital.

After entering the ward, she saw Sarah lying on the bed.

It was normal for Dr. Brown to be here, but why were Dorothy and Bianca here?

Dorothy and Bianca secretly looked at each other. The plan had succeeded.

Anne walked to the bed. “Mom?”

Sarah had her eyes closed, and her forehead was wrapped with gauze.

“Do not worry. She has not woken up yet, and we have to wait a while longer,” Dr. Brown said."What's going on? Why did she fall? Was it because of fatigue?” Anne asked.

Dr. Brown hesitated for a moment, then looked at Dorothy.

Dorothy said, “I'm so sorry. I came to see Nigel in the ward. When I walked to the bedside, my footkicked the foot of the bed, and I bumped into your mother. Your mother fell off the chair andknocked her head on the corner of the table. That's why I am here with Bianca.”

Anne did not expect this to be the case and suddenly became suspicious, “Was it an accident?”"What do you mean? Do you think that I pushed her on purpose? Do not accuse me withoutevidence!” Dorothy said eccentrically.

Anne really had no evidence.

She just felt suspicious

She felt that they did it on purpose.

She had not mentioned to anyone that they were going to sea.

“If you want to replace out the truth, we will cooperate with you,” Bianca said.

They sounded as if it was an accomplishment to hurt someone.

“If I ever replace out that you were the ones behind this...Now, please go out,” Anne said.

“Go investigate. We are not afraid.” Bianca gave her a contemptuous sideways glance and left theward with Dorothy.

After watching them leave, Anne asked Dr. Brown, “I remember there was a surveillance camera inmy father's ward?”

“Indeed there is."

“I want to have a look.”

“Then come with me.”

Dr. Brown took Anne to the monitoring room and brought up the footage.

Sarah entered the ward after lunch, while Dorothy and Bianca went in two hours later.

There was no conflict, and it seemed that they both came to visit Nigel.

Five minutes later, Dorothy toppled over as if her foot was hooked somewhere, and she lost herfooting.

She could not see why though. The footage was blocked by Bianca.

Was it a coincidence?

“It's exactly what they said,” Dr. Brown said.

“Damn it.” Anne returned to the ward and found that Sarah was already awake, so she hurried over.“Mom, how are you?”

“Anne...” Sarah saw her daughter, still a little unconscious, and asked, “Why are you here?”

“Dr. Brown called me and said you fell, and I was so worried. Do you remember how you fell over?”Anne asked.
