Chapter 766

Bianca's car drove to the Royal Mansion. As soon as she saw Hayden, she asked, “Where isAnthony?”

Hayden was stunned. “Mr. Marwood is yet to return.”

“Yet to return?” Bianca could not believe it. Could Anthony really be at the office? Without furtherado, she turned back to her car, slammed on the accelerator, and sped away.

No matter where Anthony was, she was determined to replace him.

At that moment, only she could be with him. Other women should not have a chance at all! However, when she arrived at the Archduke Group, she was also informed that Anthony was notaround either.

Why? He was not at the Royal Mansion, and he was not at the office, then where could he be?Could he be at the hospital?

Bianca then went to the hospital. She did not even knock on the door and entered Kathryn's office.Kathryn, who was treating a patient, looked up, “Ms. Faye, what's up?”

“Has Anthony come here to see you?"

“Mr. Marwood did not see me. Why? Is he unwell?”

Bianca could not let anyone suspect her. She said, “I bumped into him at the restaurant. He seemedunwell, and I am worried about him.”

“He should be fine. Otherwise, he would have come to see me.”

Bianca walked out of the hospital, flustered. She could not think of where else Anthony couldpossibly be.

She sat in the car and called Anthony. She also called Oliver, but no one answered her call.

She slapped the steering wheel angrily.

Anthony was obviously drugged, but why did he not want to get close to her? Where exactly washe?

As soon as Anne and Corentin were back at Corentin’s residence, they headed back to the room. The butler came and informed, “Mr. Lloyd, Ms. Thompson has gone back to the hotel.”

Corentin briefly lifted his chin and looked to the second floor. His tongue stuck into his right cheek, and he said, “Got it."

When Anne got back to her room, she took a shower and called Ashlynn.

She thought Ashlynn was staying in another room, only to replace out that she had returned to thehotel through the phone call.

"Didn“t you say that you were staying at the mansion? Why did you go back? There are plenty ofrooms here, just accompany me here. Plus, my uncle does not mind it at all,” Anne said.

“I just don't feel good about troubling him. That's why I left,” Ashlynn said.

“Sure, then you go to bed earlier. If there is nothing else in the morning, we will go back to Lutontomorrow,” Anne said.

"Sure, you too. Rest early.”

After hanging up, Anne looked at the time. She thought it was not a good time to call her motheranymore. She probably had already gone to bed by now.

After all, she will be back by tomorrow.

She lay in bed and replayed the scene of meeting Cory in her head. She could tell that Cory was thekind of person who prioritized his work and career more than anything.

That was why she felt that her father's departure from the family had not affected Cory.

Plus, he had a rather capable younger son.

There was someone to inherit the Lloyd family, so he did not care much about his eldest son.Anne tossed around in bed. She could not process what was going on between her father and Cory. She had a hunch that they were hiding something from her.

Would she need to wait until her father woke up only to replace out what that was?

Perhaps that was the only way...

Soon, Anne fell asleep.

Not sure after how long, a knock at the door woke her up.

Who was it?

She checked the clock. It was not even nine. She was only asleep for about an hour.

The door was opened, and it was the butler. “Ms. Vallois, someone from Luton is looking for you.”
