Chapter 797

“Thank you for taking care of me, Ms. Vallois. I will never forget it. I need to go now.”

“Sure. Let me know if you need anything,” Anne said.

“I will.” Ashlynn hung up and turned to look at the man staring at her by the bed. “I'll go with you.I've already told Ms. Vallois about it.”

Anne knew that Ashlynn could not speak her mind because Corentin was watching her, becausethey could not risk alerting Corentin in any way.

Anne remembered that Ashlynn still had her keys, but dismissed the thought shortly after since shehad spare keys at home.

However, when she returned to her apartment and opened the drawer inside her room, she noticedthat her spare keys were gone.

“I remember putting it here...no?” She mumbled to herself.

“Did someone steal it?” She thought to herself. “No way. No one would break into an apartment justto steal keys.”

She looked everywhere, but there was no sign of her keys, so she was left to change the lock in hernew apartment. She contacted a professional locksmith to change the lock and obtained the newkeys to it.

When she went into the apartment, she noticed that the trash bin in the living room had collapsedonto the floor.

She walked over to lift it up, thinking that it had fallen and rolled off.

She did not think much of it, as Nigel had chosen this apartment for its security. Moreover, Anthonylived next door and if he was not concerned, she should not be worried either.

When Anne headed out of the apartment, she ran into Bianca, who approached her with a hatefullook on her face.

It seemed like Bianca had been waiting for her, and when Bianca was visibly losing control of heranger, Anne took the opportunity to ask, “Did you steal my keys?”

"How would I replace out about how shameless you are if I hadn't?" Bianca's face twisted with anger.“You and Anthony must have come here all the time, right? You must feel really good about yourselfto humiliate me! Anne Vallois, you should die!”

Ever since Bianca realized what Anthony and Anne had been doing, she had not been able torecover and even had to take antidepressants to calm herself.

“How could they?’ Bianca thought to herself, “I didn’t even know that Anthony has an apartmenthere. Did he buy this place to keep his lover? No! I won't let them have what they want! Damn you,Anne Vallois!'

“If you have an issue with this, it's Anthony that you should be confronting!” Anne said, beforeturning to leave.

Bianca glared at Anne as she left and Anne's confidence had stung her pride.

No one had ever humiliated her to this extent and gotten away with it. The only thought in Bianca'smind at the moment was that she wanted Anne to experience her pain in a hundred folds.

“How do I make her suffer?” She asked herself. How..."

Bianca returned to her apartment and saw Dorothy pressing on her doorbell as soon as she walkedout of the elevator.

Dorothy hurried over to her and asked, “What's going on with you? I can’t pin you down and youwon't answer your phone. What happened?”

“I'm fine,” she said blankly, before opening the door.

Dorothy followed her inside, as it was obvious that Bianca was upset. “Talk to me. Did Anne dosomething to you? They think they have won because they inherited everything from Nigel. Let metell you this, something has to be wrong here! Don't worry. You will take back what's yours! I can’tbelieve Corentin. I was clear enough and he couldn't be bothered to interfere.”

"Anne's too good at seducing men. Right now, Anthony is spending more time with her than withme..."

Bianca panicked. Anthony was her fiancé and she was the future Mrs. Marwood; no one could takethat away from her. If Anne tried to replace her, she could make sure that Anne died miserably.“Doesn't that make it even harder for you to get pregnant?” Dorothy cared about Bianca gettingpregnant above all.
