Chapter 805

“Mama, do we call him Great-Grandpa?” Chloe asked.

“That's right,” Anne admitted.

The triplets noticed that Anne did not ask them to call Cory “Great-Grandpa’, but they did not askmore after carefully observing her facial expression.

“Look after the children. I'm going back to check on my mom.” Anne said to Anthony. Then, she toldthe triplets about the plan, letting them follow their father.

The three little ones were quite obedient and followed Anthony without making a fuss.

Anne walked out of the funeral parlor. The sun was not dazzling outside, but she felt dizzy. Sheknew it was because she was extremely sad over Nigel's death and had been crying all day.Nonetheless, how could she be in good spirits?

Anne could not help but wonder if she and Sarah would feel even worse once she returned to visitSarah.

Before Anne reached the car, she suddenly felt lighter. Someone had carried her. However, Anne didnot even have the energy to resist, and she was already in the car before she knew it.

Bianca, who was in the dining hall, saw the scene and stood up anxiously. At the thought of Coryand the others at the table, she had no choice but to endure it.

Why was Anne pretending to be fragile? Was it nothing more than just to gain sympathy?!Nevertheless, Bianca was secretly happy when she saw Anne being miserable!

Cory and Corentin naturally noticed that scene but turned a blind eye to it.

After Anne got into the car, she asked as she did not see the children, “Where are the kids?""Someone will look after them.” Anthony looked at the dull luster in her eyes and frowned slightly.“You're going to scare the children like this.”

After saying that, Anthony's heart was filled with distress. That was not what he wanted to say...“The children are not here.” Anne was forcing herself to hold on. “Are you sending me back to themansion?”

“Look at yourself. Do you think you can comfort anyone like this?"

“I'm fine.” Anne looked out of the car window.

“Go back and rest at the apartment first, then eat something. I'll send you over in the evening.”Anthony decided for her. “Ill ask someone to watch over the mansion.”

“Can you leave me alone?” Anne asked aloofly. She did not look back and just stared out the carwindow.

"Don't forget that you're my woman. I have the right to control you.”

Anne did not want to argue with him. “If you're not dropping me off, let me out of the car. go bymyself.”

Anthony's face turned unsightly, and he was exuding an imposing pressure.

Even so, Anne was not afraid, and her rebellious heart was calm.

The Rolls Loyce eventually parked outside the mansion.

“You should go back. I'll call a cab later,” Anne said as she got out of the car.

“How long do you need?”

Anne turned to look at him, puzzled.

Anthony raised his wrist and looked at the time. “I'm free, so I'll go with you.”

“I may take a long while,” Anne replied.

“Go ahead.”

Anne looked away in a daze.

Why was Anthony so caring all of a sudden? He was never this way before.

Was it because she lost her father?

What a rare occurrence, but she much rather not have it...

Anne walked toward the door and saw Sarah standing at the door and looking in her direction. “Ididn't expect it was you. Did Anthony's driver bring you here?”

Anne looked at Sarah's haggard face and found her eyes red and swollen. She knew that Sarah hadbeen crying at home alone. Then, Anne pulled Sarah inside and replied, “Yes.”

She did not say that Anthony was in the car.

“Why are you here? Don't you need to be there?” Sarah asked.
