I firmly decided that I wouldn’t allow myself to think about Nicolas Zoe until the next day. Right on the eve of our attendance at the High Council meeting, I chose to dedicate the rest of the day and night to enjoying the company of my twins, refusing to give Nicolas even a moment more of my time.

As for Axel and Thomas, I entrusted both of them with the task of contacting their sources to gather information about a being they referred to as the ‘Soul Devourer,’ and how it related to my own abilities. We crossed our fingers that knowledge of my true nature wouldn’t spread, as sources might withhold details if they believed a neighboring pack was gearing up for a confrontation.

“Guys, I don’t know about you, but I won’t let this ruin my day,” Liam exclaimed with a smile as we walked through the forest. In my opinion, we were in a completely secluded location. We had exited through the back door and were venturing into the density of the woods, leaving behind the shimmering lake and its seductive waters.

The hike was quite manageable, to be honest. My resilience and strength were notably superior as a werewolf. I wasn’t even out of breath, and I easily kept up with the twins’ pace. They led the way, pushing aside branches and pointing out hidden roots. My eyes scanned every corner, and I felt Gaia practically sitting in the front row, urging me to transform and delve into the vegetation-covered undergrowth.

“Why would the idea of being a ‘Soul Devourer’ affect your day?” I asked lightly.

Liam, who was leading our small group of three men deeper into the forest, turned his head and raised an eyebrow. His raspy voice mixed with the singing of birds and the crunch of earth under our feet.

“It wouldn’t, because I know you’d be able to handle it,” he simply replied, giving me a smile that made butterflies flutter in my stomach.

“There are very few people who can truly deal with a power like that, and you’re definitely among them.”

“Sounds confident, but what do you base that on?” I retorted, letting out a muted sigh as Ethan avoided me tripping over a thick root that crossed our path.

“Hmm, let me think for a moment,” Liam requested, and with each tense pause, my unease grew. “Well, think about it this way: if you were a Soul Devourer, wouldn’t you have used your ability against Chloe? After what she did to you, it would make sense.”

It didn’t take me long to understand what Liam was trying to convey, and I couldn’t help but let out an incredulous chuckle in response.

I briefly observed Ethan’s eyes as he moved ahead, holding a branch back. The lingering anger in his gaze was evident, just as I felt it beginning to infect me.

“Of course, I wouldn’t,” I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes at both of them. They seemed to be dramatizing the situation. “She’s a despicable excuse for a human, but she doesn’t deserve to have her soul ripped out. Typically, people like that end up in jail. It doesn’t make me special; many others would do the same in my place.”

“Not as many as you’re imagining,” Liam objected, looking down at me. I was sure he wouldn’t have a problem doing it. He’d consume her soul and wouldn’t lose sleep over it.

We approached a small ravine in the forest, dotted with large stones serving as our only path. Liam crossed with fluid and graceful movements, despite the stones being covered in algae. I clenched my teeth and cautiously placed a foot on one of them. My sandals lacked traction, and I almost slipped forward.

“I agree,” Ethan growled as he lifted me up in his arms, holding me against his chest as he moved across the stones. His eyes were dark as they met mine, and a mischievous smile adorned his face. “Your reflexes are better, but you’re still pretty clumsy for a werewolf.”

“I’m not clumsy,” I playfully responded, furrowing my brow. “You and Liam are just exceptionally skilled.”

“Do you think we’re exceptional?” Ethan asked, softly laughing in my ear. We had already crossed the small ravine, but Ethan hadn’t let go of me. “Darling, you’re the exceptional one.”

Ethan adjusted until my legs were wrapped around his waist and my arms encircled his neck.

“How can you walk like this?” I teased, letting out a muted m**n as his hand caressed my back.

“It’s not that hard, I have motivation,” he laughed, a sound as deep and full as the surrounding forest.

I stifled an embarrassed sigh as he pulled me tightly against him, feeling his muscles move beneath my thighs.

“I won’t last another thirty minutes if all I can smell is your arousal,” Liam shouted from behind him, causing Ethan to chuckle and me to blush.

“Please, let me down,” I murmured softly, placing my hands on Ethan’s shoulders. “If you don’t, I won’t last another thirty minutes either.”

“Well, in that case, feel free to play a little more with her, brother,” Liam murmured under his breath, giving me an intense look.

“Don’t you dare,” I warned Ethan, looking at him sternly. I wasn’t going to allow him to do anything here, not until I could cool off. The humidity was unbearable, and sweat was sliding down my back.

Ethan slowly lowered me, and I could feel his length pressing against his pants. His apologetic smile was faint, and I could see beyond it in an instant. Once the heat in my core subsided, the rest of the walk was genuinely enjoyable. A cool breeze continued to blow as we neared our destination, giving me a brief respite from the heat.

The sound of running water reached my ears before I could see it, and its freshness was perceptible even from a distance. We crossed the line of trees and stopped at the top of a small waterfall. Around ten feet in height, the spray of water brushed against me as it collided with the bottom. Irregular rocks, glistening with moisture, dotted the edge of the cliff and its surroundings.

“Are you sure no one will see us here?” I asked the two of them, feeling strangely vulnerable after my conversation with Nicolas.

“No, we have control of this entire forest,” Liam assured, tossing his bag next to the trunk of an oak tree. I decided to trust his words and took a deep breath. While I felt comfortable with the twins, a twinge of nervousness seemed to nestle in my stomach. The intensity of their presence was overwhelming, and I doubted I would ever get used to getting lost in their eyes.

I dropped my own bag to the ground and took off my shirt. Liam stopped rummaging in his bag and watched me with his head tilted, his eyes fixed on me. Ethan did the same, redirecting his attention to me. How could I not feel safe? I could sense their feelings for me. I was at the center of their world, and I doubted any other woman would dare to come this close.

Then, I shed the shorts, leaving only in a lace bra and panties. It had been a set the twins had packed for me, after a fifteen-minute debate before finally settling on it. It was entirely transparent, revealing every inch of my body. It wasn’t much different from what I had in mind anyway.

With all the confidence I could muster, I approached Ethan. When I was inches away from him, I turned to look at him through my lashes.

“Could you unhook my bra, please?” I asked in a sweet tone, my legs trembling as a surge of need swept through my senses. Ever since the twins had marked me, their emotions seemed to be in full intensity. It was as if I could fully feel them now, the emotion at its peak.

“Of course, darling,” he responded after a brief silence; his voice sounded huskier than usual. I could feel every place where his fingers touched my skin. I shivered at the sensation of goosebumps that ran down my arms and back. Once he unhooked the clasp of my bra, I let it fall to the ground along with the rest of my clothes.

“Do you need help with anything else?” Ethan asked from behind me, his fingers playing with the lace underwear I was wearing.

“No, I’m good,” I replied breathlessly, taking a step back and dropping my underwear onto the pile of clothes. If Ethan had helped me take them off, he would have seen the full extent of his impact on my body. But that wasn’t going to happen. There was so much I could take in, and I knew I would never fully get over it.

“Are you two going to swim, or do you just plan to stand here and watch me?” I asked, placing my hands on my h**s as I looked at both of them in the eyes. I didn’t know where I had found the confidence to stand there in front of them, but I was determined to maintain it.

Despite feeling my fingers tremble with the urge to cover myself, I managed to hold my position steadfastly.

“Well, our intention was to go swimming,” Liam said with a sly smile and a shrug. “But I think we have something more interesting in mind.”

“Oh no, that’s not going to happen,” I shook my head, taking a few steps back towards the edge of the small cliff. “We came here to swim, and that’s precisely what I’m going to do.”

“Can’t you be persuaded, darling?” Liam asked, pouting in a way that had an effect on me.

“No way,” I exclaimed, jumping from the top of the cliff into the water below.

The sweat vanished from my body, and the heat dissipated under the coolness of the water. The twins followed shortly after, creating synchronized splashes in the water below.

I sought refuge behind the waterfall, but Ethan caught me before I could stealthily approach either of them.

We swam for what seemed like hours, with no interruption for food. While the sun heated the land, the lake water continued to wash away the sweat.

My limbs were starting to ache from the constant swimming and occasional bouts of play-fighting, but I relished every moment.

Liam and Ethan proved to be evenly matched in their fighting. My new favorite source of entertainment focused on watching the clashes between the twins.

Not only was there a great display of moving muscles, but they were quite amusing as well. Ethan would throw Liam into the water, splashing me as I sat on a smooth rock.

Somehow, Liam managed to catch Ethan and throw him into the water. At the end of their battle, there was no clear winner, but both were winded and throwing defiant glances.

To Gaia’s delight, we changed and ran through the entire forest. Liam had won every time, but I managed to beat Ethan three times.

Ethan grumbled in annoyance. Liam laughed at him, calling him a sore loser, which made me snort and eventually burst into laughter.

Shortly after, the three of us were resting on a thick blanket Liam had spread out on the grass. The twins took turns joking and playfully teasing me as if I were their personal amusement.

When they were done, I felt a tingling sensation and yearned to immerse myself again in the cold water. We headed back home just as the sun was beginning to set.

The three of us made our way back to the cabin, only to replace ourselves in bed an hour later. Our bodies couldn’t stay away during our long shower.

Perhaps it was the worry of what might happen the next day that drove us. No matter how hard I tried to avoid it, I couldn’t stop thinking about the worst-case scenario. They could sentence me to death and consider me unworthy of living.

Liam and Ethan would lead their packs to war for me, just like Thomas and Axel. It would be a bloodbath, and for what? It didn’t make sense.

The white wolves had been hunted and used as weapons; that had to stop. We were strong enough to face this situation.

Gaia reminded me, her voice a mix of strength and duty echoing in my mind. Despite the nerves and anxiety about what was to come, we longed to claim and be claimed.

I knew what awaited us that night, and I let my companions’ k****s dispel any lingering worries.

“Is it going to hurt?” I gasped, sandwiched between the twins, as they both leaned in close to me. Ethan positioned himself in front of me, holding my chin firmly as he advanced.

Liam was behind, his hands playing with my breasts as he moved inside me gently.

“Don’t worry about that, darling,” Liam whispered in my ear, though the sound turned into a deep g***n as he completed the last stretch and filled me completely.

“Oh, Sussan…”

Both took what they craved from me and returned double in exchange. The twins quickly established a rhythm with their thrusts, making my body meet Ethan’s with each movement and sending waves of pleasure through my limbs.

Liam entwined his fingers in my hair, tilting my head back against his shoulder. Our eyes met, and I was on the brink of c****x just from seeing the ferocity in his gaze. His skin glistened with a sheen of sweat, and his intense scent filled the room.

“Come to us, darling,” Ethan whispered, his lips replaceing my neck. Just as Ethan pressed against my sensitive clit, Liam gently pinched my n****e, causing an explosion that sent me to the edge of pleasure. My body responded to both, arching and succumbing to the o****m that shook me forcefully.

The twins seized that moment of ecstasy to sink their fangs into the curve of my neck. Ethan took the left side, and Liam the right. While I felt a fleeting instant of sharp pain as their teeth pierced my skin, pleasure quickly flooded in and overwhelmed it.

That fleeting pain gave way to something I had already experienced. When I marked the twins, I could feel our connection strengthening. We weren’t complete yet, not until I bore their same mark. The moment their teeth sank into their own marks was palpable to me, and the symbol that would soon emerge on my skin seemed to bubble beneath the surface.

My neck warmed, despite the lingering pain. The twins licked at the b***d emerging from my neck. Ethan rested his forehead against mine, remaining connected with me. The beats of his heart resonated in my chest, while Liam’s echoed in my back.

You’re amazing, darling. Ethan’s voice echoed in my mind: ‘You’ve done a great job.’ His words melded with my own thoughts, almost passing unnoticed.

Can you hear me? I thought: ‘Are you in my mind, or am I in yours?’

‘Imagine we’re always on a three-way conference call.’ Liam chuckled softly, joining the conversation.

‘Is there any way to mute our little three-way conference?’ I laughed, trying not to blush. There were thoughts I’d rather not share with the twins, especially my most intense desires.

They already have enough ego without me adding to the mix. ‘Yes, darling. I think we’ll have to teach you how to block certain thoughts.’ Liam sighed, directing his comment towards Ethan.

‘Oversized egos?’ Ethan protested playfully. “Don’t act offended.”

I soothed Ethan, whose eyes reflected a hint of amusement.

“There’s a much more pleasurable way to use that mouth instead of saying such provocative things, darling.”

Ethan scolded me gently, sealing his words with a k**s that left my breath suspended and my body trembling.

His dark eyes shifted to his brother.

“I think it’s time our little friend let out a few m***s, brother.”

“I’m not passing up an opportunity like that.” Liam giggled as his fingers traced slow circles over my sensitive breasts.

Their lips explored my neck, sending small sparks of sensation through the wound they had left.

We surrendered completely to the time we shared, entangled in a dance of limbs and whispered words.

My body was exhausted but filled with vibrant satisfaction, despite the pain that ran through my muscles.

My throat felt a bit hoarse from the sounds I had emitted, sounds that the twins had devoured eagerly and passionately.

It was only when the clock marked the first light of day that we snuggled up in bed.

I stayed awake a little longer, my head resting on Ethan’s chest and my legs intertwined with Liam’s.

I listened to the steady beat of their hearts and the calm whispers of their emotions until my eyes finally closed in restful sleep.
