Chapter 65
“Dear friends,
Like you, we have heard the recent message from a certain Robert Morgan claiming to have proof of wrongdoing by this government.
I would like to go on record as saying that we have nothing to hide and invite Mr. Morgan to produce his so-called proof.
No. Citizens; Mr. Morgan is hiding an agenda of his own and is a dangerous person. He has been linked to various terrorist activities, not least of which is the sinking of one of our last Navy Ships, the USS Bunker Hill, and the hijacking of another, the Independence. Please be careful if you come in contact with him or his cronies. He must face justice for several activities on American soil.
This is a difficult new world. We must brave these new challenges together. I promise to guide you toward a better future, despite obstacles like this fraud. I think our security is at risk today, and it will be at risk until such time we are entitled and get what we are entitled to as citizens of this country. We want security. One of the reasons I am your president is because of law and order and security. Believe me, I have learned a lot in the last two weeks, and terrorism is a far greater threat than the people of our country understand, but we are going to take care of it. We have the best people here, with me, around me. We are going to win. We are going to rebuild our defense arsenal to a level such as has never been seen. No one will mess with us I can tell you that. And we’re going to build a really, really big wall so that no one can come in and hurt us. I know you’ll support me in this great endeavor. You know I’m doing all this for you, people, you wonderful people. I know you trust me. But.. ok. Yes. Any information on Mr. Robert Morgan’s whereabouts will be rewarded. Contact your local Marshall if you have any information.”
After that speech, Ian was completely shocked and promised himself not to let the president speak in public anymore.
