REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON
Chapter 87: The Final Bargain

He was infuriated and started lashing out as he started moving faster and faster making me laugh as I tripped him and that signaled I had won the first round of fight as he stood up from the pool of blood soaked and looking impossibly angrier and I suddenly burst into laugher as his skin looked redder more form anger than blood. He started attacking me viciously and when he found he couldn't defeat me, two of his servants appeared and held me down while he pushed me to the ground.

"Hey! That is cheating!" I said feeling infuriated to him.

"No, it is not cheating. This is a ruthless fight. You can fight in any kind of method that you want," he said as he brought out his tongue looking childish.

"You don't know what you have brough upon yourself," I laughed as I instantly multiplied myself.

Each of my clones facing his servants while I faced him.

I started to use all the techniques Lacienda taught me and I combined them with Alexis training creating powerful moves and soon he was lying on the ground for the third time in a row while I kept laughing and moving around like we were dancing in a ball.

"Stop!" he suddenly shouted.

"What? No! you cannot end the match like that without declaring a winner," I said to him.

"I declare it a tie and I move to what will finally determine the winner," he said.

"That is cheating. I won you multiple times," I looked at him accusingly.

"Yes, you did but that doesn't mean it is cheating. This is my realm and this is my villa, so we will play by my rules," he laughed.

"Neck we will play a game of cards, the person that wins this round of the game is free to do whatever," he smiled confidently at me.

"Okay then," I smirked.

We sat down and he laid the cards and soon after we started playing the game.

"Wait, I need to tell you something. you have to agree with me and I sign it that we are playing this game only once and whoever wins this round is the winner," I said.

"I promise," he said as he signed the paper his servant brough confidently.

I smirked and after exactly five minutes, I dropped my cards indicating that I have won.

"What? No, you cheated. No one has ever beaten me in a game!" he shouted.

"The people you have been playing with lack talent," I winked at him.

"No!" he shouted as the curse left him.

I stretched my hand forward and he placed the necklace in my hands.

"I was nice playing with you," I smiled at him but he did not share my joy as he looked a me with a death glare.

Too bad looks can't kill or I'd be dead by now.

I closed my eyes and inhaled and I appeared before the scribe virgins in the woods.

"You did it," they said as they stepped forward and collected their necklace.

"Yes, I did," I nodded.

"Lyra," Grand nan hugged me.

"I am proud of you," she said as she tried to wipe the blood away from my skin and hair.

"It is time for the ritual. You have to be reborn now or else you won't be able to do it until the neck full moon which is three weeks from now," they said to me and I quickly faced them. "What is needed for the ritual?" I asked them.

"Do not worry, we will provide them. Just wait here," they said as they disappeared.

"They like you now, they have been trying to get that necklace from the curse bearer for centuries, how did you do it?" grand nan asked me.

"With a little bargain." I smiled.

"I am really proud of you my dear child. I know you will you well as you leave this place but I need to tell you this again. I know you are hurting but you need to for give them. If you forgive them you will suddenly feel better and when you are fully healed if you decide to let go of Kyle, I will support you. Btu you will have to come back here to tell them you have forgiven them okay? I do not want any of them dying of guilt," grand nan said to me again as she looked down with tears in her eyes.

"Okay, I will do as you have said," I reached forward and pulled her into a hug as I wiped the tears in her eyes.

We were still talking about my plans after I leave this place when the scribe virgins reappeared.

Grand nan was about to go but they asked her to stay.

"We need to for this ritual. You will help her back to our world after she is reborn if not she will become part of the helpless souls who have lost their way," the scribe virgins said. "Can nothing in my life be easy?" I said feeling tired as I stepped into the big pot that looked like a box.

"Now lie down carefully and repeat these chants after be. We will make a small incision on your forehead and you palm and your blood will flow out to connect the circuit. You will the lady of the veil that collects souls or tries to lead them

away and she will try to make you follow her but you have to refuse. Then you will feel immense pain and you may lose the feeling of your surrounding and wander in an abyss but you will be brought back. Finally, you will pay a visit to Venus and you will be cleansed and finally reborn under the full moon," the scribe virgins told me what I was getting into.

I inhaled and said yes, I agreed for everything. To wash away my past life, and the pain that came with it.
