Third Person’s POV

The creatures in the room are stunned. They did not expect Mikhail to die so slowly, and maybe that is what he deserved. He had killed so many people and other creatures that the gods did not want him to die quickly. There is a relief in the air. The vampires with the tattoos are relieved that they did not also die when Michail died. Paris and Walker stand there looking at the four vampires with them.

“Well, that is over and done with,” Paris says.

“Yeah, it was a little dramatic, but he is dead,” Walker says.

“I am glad I could be part of this, as he ruined my life. He killed my wife. He did not want me to have children. He killed Amelia,” Dennis says.

“Uncle, did he really kill our aunt,” Kristina asks. She was still small when their aunt died of a mysterious illness. She remembers they were all still children and were crying for Amelia. Amelia was a soft, caring aunt who loved them and wanted them to come and stay with her and their uncle. She could not have her own children but always cared about them.

“Yes, he poisoned her. I knew it the day I asked a doctor’s friend of mine to look at her body. I always kept her body safe. So when medication improves, I could take her somewhere and replace out why she died. I was sad and angry when he told me she had been poisoned, and I hated Michail even more and wanted him to die a slow death. Today I got my reward,” Dennis says.

“Do you still have her body?” Roman asks.

“Only her bones,” Dennis says, looking sad. The creatures outside are rejoicing, and they are glad Mikhail is dead. They dance around being happy, but everyone feels sad for Dennis inside the Castle. He lost the love of his life so long ago, but they can feel he still loves her.

“I can help you,” Cadilla says where she is standing next to Roman.

“What do you mean?” Dennis asks.

“How much did Amelia love you?” Cadilla asks.

“She loved me with all her heart and would do anything for me,” Dennis answers.

“Did she love you so much that she would spend eternity with you?” Cadilla asks.

“Yes, she would do anything for me,” Dennis says, still not sure where Cadilla is going with this.

“Take me to her bones. I think with the magic of the magical wolves and gypsies, we can bring her back, but she will be like her mate. She will be like you, a vampire,” Cadilla says.

“I am not sure I want her to live this life,” Dennis says.

“You have your soul back. You can be a good vampire, and she will be with you, but we can first ask her,” Cadilla says.

“She is dead. How can we ask her?” Dennis asks.

“Well, I can let her spirit use my body, and you can talk to her,” Cadilla says.

“You can do that?” Dennis asks.

“Yes, but I will need her bones,” Cadilla says.

“I have them with me. I carry them with me wherever I go,” Dennis says.

“Then go and fetch them so we can talk to her,” Cadilla says. Dennis feels hope in his heart. Can they do this? He uses his vampire speed to go and go to fetch Amelia’s bones. He always carries it with him in a suitcase. He always wants his beloved wife near him. As he puts the bones in front of Cadilla, she starts chanting.

“I am here, honey,” Dennis hears his wife’s voice coming out of Cadilla’s mouth.

“Baby, I miss you so much,” Dennis says, crying.

“I know how much you miss me, and I can feel your sadness. I have been watching you. I know all about the bad things you have done because you did not want to feel and wanted to die to be with me. I understand. I do not blame you for what you did when your brother turned you into a monster. I know you are yourself again. I love you, Dennis. I want to be with you again. Let Cadilla bring me back as the same creature you are,” Amelia says.

“Are you sure? Your soul was always so pure, and I do not want you to blame me for being what we are,” Dennis says.

“You killed the monster that killed me, and I think we deserve another chance. I want to come back and be with you,” Amelia says.

“How do we know you will not be evil like I was?” Dennis asks.

“Well, we must replace out, but do you think Cadilla will bring back an evil creature?” Amelia asks.

“No, I do not think she will, and she will give you the tattoo that saved me,” Dennis says. He is now excited, thinking he might see his wife again.

“Do it, uncle Dennis. You deserve to be happy again,” Kristina says. Paris and Walker are watching all this play out before them, and they even think that Dennis and Amelia deserve a second chance at happiness. Paris prays to the Moon Goddess that the spell will work as she is a romantic at heart but will never admit it. Cadilla comes out of her trance and looks around her in confusion.

“What did she say? Can we try to bring her back?” Cadilla asks.

“Yes, she wants us to have a second chance at happiness,” Dennis says.

“Well, then let us do it,” Cadilla says. She sends Roman to call all the gypsies and magical creatures. It will take a lot of their magic, and they must ask the Moon Goddess for permission first, as it is not in their hands. Cadilla, the gypsies, and the other magical creatures take hands and pray to Selene. They ask her to be granted a magic wish. They know she will answer them by giving them the words they must chant to bring back Amelia.

“Use Mikhail’s ashes to bring her back to life. Use the power he had and chant the life chant. The one that killed her will bring her back to life,” Cadilla hears the Moon Goddess says. She knows Selene must feel sorry for Dennis and Amelia, who only had a little time together.

Cadilla takes the hands of the magical creature around her. They draw strength from the ashes of Mikhail. They start chanting the chant of life. It takes a lot out of them, as bringing someone back from the dead is not easy. They can feel their magical powers drained as they chant, but they keep chanting. Everyone is surprised, and some are spooked when Amelia’s bones come together and the flesh starts forming on the bones. They chant harder and faster as they use the power of the ashes of Mikhail. Soon a beautiful creature stands in front of them. Cadilla and the magical creatures feel tired, but they know they must give her the tattoo. So they start chanting to give her the tattoo and let her have a soul.

“I am back! I can not believe this. My spirit was restless as it missed you so much, Dennis,” Amelia says as she stands before Dennis. Dennis is openly crying. He thought he would never see his beloved wife again. Cadilla and the magical creatures fall to the ground as they are drained. All their magic and powers are used. They feel weak, but they will restore their powers soon. Everyone looks at the ashes of Mikhail as it is lying on the chair. They can not believe he was at least good for one thing. They can not believe he was good enough to bring back one of the people he killed.

“We should keep his ashes. Put it in a bottle and seal it,” Cadilla says to Roman. Roman takes the ashes, puts them in a bottle, and seals them. They do not want the wrong creatures to get a hold of it. The dark witches and warlocks can get a hold of and misuse it. They take the ashes to the vault and lock them in there as they do not want anyone to get them. The vampires will protect his ashes for eternity and ensure no one can use them for evil. Michail has ended up in the vault where he has kept his mother and father for years. He has returned to the place where he locked up the two people who cared about him but hated them. Luca smiles as he thinks about it. He will be a much better leader for the vampires and ensure they are always friends with the other creatures. Luca will never let anyone of his followers become evil again. He still does not know how the tattoo works or if their children will be born with it. Luca makes a mental note to ask Cadilla about it.

Amelia and Dennis can not stop hugging each other. They got a second chance to be together, and it is all thanks to Mikhail. Dennis can not stop smiling. He thinks about his brother and how angry he would be right now. He killed Amelia to spite Dennis, and his ashes brought her back to life. He starts thanking Cadilla and the other magical creatures.

“Do not thank us. Thank the Moon Goddess for hearing our prayers and giving us our wishes. Selene is the one that brought back Amelia, not us. She made us use the evil Mikhail’s ashes to return your wife, believing you two needed a second chance,” Cadilla says. Dennis and Amelia are now openly crying as they know they owe these creatures a lot, but they silently pray to Selene, who grants them the second chance they desperately need.

“I love you so much, Dennis,” Amelia says.

“I love you, baby, but can you forgive me for my past? For what I did when my emotions were turned off? I killed many innocent people and feel so ashamed of it,” Dennis says.

“Do not feel guilty, honey. It is all on Michail and not you. He turned you into a monster when you wanted to die to be with me. He is the one that will have to pay for the lives you took. He is the one that kept you and me apart for decades. If I were with you, I know you would not have been evil and would have been a good vampire. I would not have let you become what your brother was. He was cruel and a disgrace to your family, even as a human. I love you, Dennis, and we must work through this together. I was dead, but I always watched over you as my spirit could not rest knowing how much you loved me and wanted me to be with you. We have got a second chance and will use it to our advantage. We have eternity together, so let us forget the past and embrace the future, as we will never be without one another again,” Amelia says. Paris and Walker look at them, and Paris feels the tears running down her cheeks. She knows she will never be able to live without Walker. He is her everything, and to be alone without the one you love must hurt like hell.

“Well, I am glad you are together again. It is so tragic and still romantic at the same time,” Paris says.

“Queen of werewolves, we are forever in your debt. You brought all these creatures together; if not for you, we would not be together. King of werewolves, we have to thank you, you and the Queen are the best things that could have happened to this world, and all the wolves and creatures are now united and will never be enemies again,” Dennis says.

“Well, we did it against our will, but now we also embrace our future and will try to be the best we can be,” Walker says. Paris holds Walker’s hand as they hand the Castle to Luca and his vampires. They want to return to their Kingdom to ensure everything is okay there. They know their wolves need them and that they still have to clean out the rest of the world and help the last few remaining dogmen there are to become full werewolves.
