Kiefer P.O.V

She love me

*No she loves us* my wolf corrected.

“Does that mean you accepted us?” I ask pulling away from our k**s.

“Off course I accepted you, you big dummy.” She said a playful smile on her face. “Now, come here.” She said and pulled me into a slow passionate k**s. My wolf was going crazy with excitement now that our mate accepted us he wanted us to take her right now. With my wolf influence our k**s soon turned into a much urgent need and I could feel myself getting loose slowly.

“Oh my, what a sight,” A very familiar voice said causing Brella and I to break away from our k**s. Pulling away from each other, we turned to see my parents staring at us curiously. And I realize the voice that spoke belongs to my mother.

“Mom, Dad.” I said clearing my throat. I ran my hand through my hair nervously I’ve forgotten everything about my parents coming here. Brella tense up beside me and I squeezed her hand, I know she didn’t expect to meet my parents so soon and like this. Squeezing her hand I motion for her to meet my parents. I could feel the hesitation as she follow quietly behind. *Don’t worry, it will be ok. My parents aren’t that scary as yours.* I mind linked her. She glared at me but she soon relaxes as I caught a smile on her face.

“Oh Kiefer my son,” My mom squealed as she wrapped her arms around me. “I’ve missed you so much.” She said. I chuckle lightly as I hugged her back, inhaling her motherly scent. As much as I enjoy being here with my mate working things out I missed my parents a lot especially my mom who look after me so well. My mom suddenly pulled away from me, she turned to Brella her eyes twinkling. “This must be your mate, I’ve heard about. Oh my gosh she’s beautiful. What’s your name sweetie?”

“Brella,” my mate answer a bit taken back as she blushed.

“Oh what a lovely name for a lovely girl,” my mom said causing my mate to blush more. “My name is Arianna and this is my husband Ben we’re Kiefer parents. Ben come say hi to your son mate.” Giving me a nod my dad passed me and went near my mom. He took my mate hand shaking it he smiled at her.

“Nice to meet you Brella,” He said. “I don’t know why my son decided to keep you a secret but we’ll soon replace out enough.” He gives me a pointed look. “I suspect you and the baby are fine?” he motion to her belly.

Brella smiled wrapping her arms around her belly. “Oh yes I’m fine sir and so are the babies.” She replies

“Please you’re my son mate call me Bed or Dad if you like and I’m not sure if I heard you right just now but did you just say babies?” my dad asks looking a little baffle.

My mom gasps covering her mouth. “You’re having twins.” It was more like a statement than a question. Brella smiled as she nods her head which cause mom to squeal like those school girls. “Come on Brella we got some catching up to do.” My mom says as she grabs my mates and led her away from me. I give my mate a reassuring smile before she disappears from my sight.

I turned to my father who had a skeptic look on his face as he stares at me. I wanted to squirm under his stare but I dear not show any sign that I’m uncomfortable. As soon to be alpha I will not show any sign of weakness unless it’s towards my mate.

“Will you care to tell me why you leave out the part of your mate carrying twins?” my father asks.

I sighed I knew I will have to explain everything to my parents. “Yes dad I will explain everything to you, but after the party.” I said. “Today is Brella’s babies shower and I don’t want to ruin it for her.” I explain.

“Very well,” my father said, he then smile at me. “Are we going to join our mates or what?”

I laughed nodding my head and let my father follow me towards the back yard. I easily spotted my mate with my mom and her mother. It warms my heart to see her laughing and chatting happily. A lot of other women surrounded her talking excitedly and placing their hands on her stomach. I watch as a guy came and hugged my mate my body went tense as a possessive state came over me. *MINE!* my wolf growl and I wanted nothing but to rip that guy head off for hugging my mate.

“Calm down son.” My father said resting his hand on my shoulder.

Taking a deep breath I pushed my wolf back down as I strolled to my mate. She spotted me and smiled, I smiled back at her. “Kiefer,” she called as she came pulling me into a hug. “I’ll like you to meet my cousin Zack. Zack this is my mate Kiefer.”

Zack turned to me and smiled politely and I immediately felt guilty for thinking bad of him. “Hey man what’s up?”

I could hear my father laughing behind me as I answer Zack.

“All right everyone it’s time for the presents to open.” My mate mother said getting everyone attentions. “Kiefer, Brella please come and sit here.” She said motioning us to two chairs near a set of presents. We went and sit and soon enough people were handing presents for us to open. We open tons of gifts that include bottles, pampers, clothes for boy and girl, stuff animals and toys etc. I smiled as I open each present, our kids will surely get spoiled. Lily came up and hand Brella a huge gift bag.

“It’s from me and Kristy.” She smiled.

My mate smile back as she checks the contents in the gift bag. She pulled out two matching onesies, and two matching bracelets. Brella mouthed a thank you to Lily and Kristy as a tear slip down her cheeks. It continues like that afterwards more presents opening. Everything ended two hours later my mate had fallen asleep on the couch her head resting on my shoulder. Ryan had taken Lily home and I’m guessing he’ll be spending the night with her. Kristy had also crashed, while Max and Jace help clean everything up.

“Kiefer it’s late please take Brella to her room, I will show your parents the guess room for them to stay in.” Brella mom said as she smiled at me. “Jace you’ll take Kristy to her room also and when you guys finish you can go sleep. We’ll finish everything tomorrow.”

Nodding my head I tell my parents goodnight as I gently pick my mate up in my arms taking her up the stairs and into her room. Closing the door with my foot I walk over to her bed and place her in it as gently as possible. I pulled the cover over her and kissed her forehead, she look so cute sleeping. I turned to leave but stopped as my mate hand held onto mine. I stared at it for a few seconds before looking at her. Her eyes partly open as she stares at me.

“Don’t go,” She said her voice tick with sleep.

“I thought you were sleeping.” I said as I knelt down to her level.

“Stay with me tonight,” my mate said her eyes begging.

“Are you sure you want me to stay?”

“Yes,” she answered.

“Ok,” I said getting up and stripping into my boxers. I slip into bed beside her.

Cuddling close to her, she breathed deeply, inhaling my scent, a small smile formed on her face. “I love you Kiefer.” She said as her eyes flutter close.

My heart sore at those words as my wolf howl in happiness that our mate loves us. Staring at her with all the love in the world I remove a lock of hair out her face. “I love you two Brella now go to sleep,” I said kissing her forehead. “And you guys two.” I added as I felt a kick from her stomach.

Alarm “Sometimes at night,

I lie awake and watch her sleeping.

She’s lost in peaceful dreams.

So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark.

And the thought crosses my mind,

If I would never wake up in the morning.

Would she ever doubt the way I feel about her in my heart.

And if tomorrow never comes

Will she know how much I love her?

Did I try in every way, to show her every day. That’s she’s my only one

Stopping the alarm I took the time to admire my beautiful mate as she sleep. Her dark beautiful hair cover partly of her face, her fair smooth soft skin seems to be glowing radiantly. She had the cutest pout as she sleeps curled up almost into a ball due to her pregnant belly. Moving the hair out her face so I can see her features more my hand brushed her cheeks and her eyes flutter open.

She smiled. “Good morning,”

“Good morning sleepy head.” I reply smiling at her. “How did you sleep?”

“Goooooooood,” She yarns. “How did you sleep?”

“I hardly sleep.” I reply staring into her green eyes.

My mate frowned getting up. “Why, was the bed uncomfortable?”

I shake my head. “I wasn’t uncomfortable, it’s just I couldn’t stop watching you as you sleep. You’re so beautiful.” I told her.

“Oh,” She said as she blushed.

I laughed as I pulled her closer. “Don’t I get a good morning k**s?” I ask wiggling my brows at her.

“Well it depends,” She said giving me a flirtatious look. My mate raised to my ears her lips grazing my neck causing me to shiver in delight. Laughing she whisper seductively into my ears. “It depends on whether you’re willing to take a bath with me.” A growl rumble up my chest at the mere thought and I felt sure that my eyes had turned a molten gold. Climbing onto my lap my mate wrap her arms around me as she place slow sweet deliberate k****s up my neck. My body began to shiver in need as I grip onto her waist. “What’s the matter Kiefer, don’t you want to take a bath with me?” she asks as she continues teasing me with her lips.

“Brella,” I breathed out huskily. “Yes I want to bath with you but-‘

“Then let’s go.” She said kissing me flush on my mouth. All two soon she pulled away before I could respond. “Don’t tell me your scared, oh big bad alpha.” She challenges looking into my eyes.

Growling I swiftly pick her up and raced to the bathroom as she giggles excitedly at me.

Later that day

“So are you going to ask him?” Max asks.

I stop pacing back and forth and stared at him for a second. “How did you know what I was going to ask him?” I question. After my mate and I little morning episode, we decide to have breakfast and after that I had a private talk with my parents where I told them everything. They were a little upset that I didn’t tell them anything and worry for Brella. But after apologizing and admitting my mistake they forgive me and said by not being around my mate was punishment enough. I also reassure them that Brella and the babies are no longer in danger on which they seem happy about. Now my parents are inside Alpha Carl office talking. I stood outside with Max waiting for my chance to speak with the Alpha myself.

Max gives me a look. “It’s pretty much written all over your face Kiefer and we both know it’s bound to happen after my sister accepted you back.”

I ran my hand through my hair. “It’s that obvious huh?”

“Don’t worry man, if anything I’m willing to bet that my father is also expecting it too.” Max said as the door open. My parents walked out, they smiled at me before I go in shutting the door behind me.

“Kiefer,” Alpha Carl voice boomed. “I understand you want to make a request. Come take a seat and let’s talk.”

Nodding my head I took a seat in front the Alpha desk. We both had a stare match before he motion for me to speak. I swallow. “Alpha, Sir I would like to ask for your permission for take my mate back with me.”

Alpha Carl stare at me for what felt like hours. “I was wondering when you’ll ask me that.” He spoke pausing as he stared off behind me. “Very well Kiefer after observing you over these past few days I hereby grant my permission to you that you can take your mate my daughter back with you. But only on the condition that she also wants to leave with you. So what’s your choice Brella?”

The sound of the door opening reach my ears and I turned to see my mate who’s blushing deeply stepped in.* our mate is a little eavesdropper*my wolf comment and I smile.

“Hey daddy,” Brella said as she walk around her father desk and hugged him.

I saw Alpha Carl face softens before pulling away from his daughter embrace. “Brella sweetie I know you were eavesdropping outside. I want you to answer something for me. It’s very important that you answer truthfully, don’t think about what I or anyone else will think or how sad we might get. Think about your happiness and the babies. Can you do that for me, honey?”

“Ok.” Brella whispers as she nods her head silently.

“Good,” Alpha Carl said as he got ready to ask his daughter the question that will decide our faith together. “Your mate has requested to take you back with him to his pack. Are you ready to return with your mate to his pack?”

I waited tensely for Brella to answer. I felt nervous and desperate at the same time. I know she has accepted me back but what if she doesn’t want to leave. I can’t stay here any longer. My parents had informed me that the pack will be handed over to me within the next week. *quit whining like a Bitch. She will come with us. Have faith in our mate.* my wolf spoke up. *But*… *But nothing geesh I swear if it weren’t for me you’ll be a weakling. Now stop whining and pay attention our mate is about to speak.*

What felt like forever but is actually only sixty seconds my mate answers.
