Kiefer POV

I punched the wall leaving a dent in it. I turn to Brian taking a deep breath as I try to calm myself down. It took a few seconds, but it worked. “I’m sorry, I needed that.”

Brian did not say anything instead he nods his head understanding how I am feeling. “I will inform the other Alphas.” He said leaving to give me some space.

As he steps out the door, Max came in and he spares a look at Brian leaving back before turning his attention to me. “Something the matter?” he asks as his eyes landed on the dent in the wall.

“There is a possibility a rouge has been spotted yesterday. Brella was the one that pick up on it.” I answer not hiding anything form him, he needs to know about his sister. “We do not know if it is a rouge but one thing for sure it wanted to harm her.” As I said those last words my hands balled into fist. I swear rouge or not, I will kill whoever it is for wanting to harm my mate.

Max expression change to worry and then to a murderous look as he processes this information. I can tell he is fighting to keep himself calm just like me. “Are they any leads?” he asks his face serious.

I shake my head “No” I answers honesty “We just got the news; I have already made a few orders. My men are on it. Also, I am notifying the other Alphas.”

Max curse under his breath. “Bastards” he said out loud.

I stare at him quietly, Brella is his baby sister. As her mate I can understand how he is feeling now. He genuinely cares for his sister. “Where is Brella now?”

“I left her in her room, she was preparing to tell you guys farewell.”

“Farewell.” He repeated. “I am not going anywhere, until this is settled.” He added with determination.

I nod my head “Good, I do not think it is safe for you and the others to travel back now. You may get ambush.”

Max nod his head. “I’m going to see my sister and also let the others know.” He said as he left.

As Max lock the door behind him, I dropped in my hair feeling mentally exhausted. I took a deep breathe. That uneasy feeling, I kept getting earlier is back again. Why is that? I ran my hand through my hair frustrated.

Shaking my head, I sat up giving myself some wake up slaps in the process. Now is not the time to be like this I still have a lot more things to do. Breathing in I mentally connecting myself to every pack member.

I waited until everyone acknowledge me and then continue.

I relay some other message before cutting off the link. I left the office and went to the training room to let off some steam. A few minutes passes as I was punching the sandbag fiercely.

*Alpha* on of my wolf called through the link.

*Yes* I answer as I stop punching the bag.

*I think you need to come sees this. *

Unknown POV

“Alpha it seems they are aware of us; they have increased security it is now near impossible to get close to the pack. They also send trackers to try and tracking one of the ours.” My informant said

Nodding my head, I wave my hand for him to leave. “Bring him in.” I said with venom.

Two of my guards walk in the room carrying a young man tied up. His face cover in bruises, he looks up at me with fear in his eyes. I grinned sinister at him.

“I sent you out to observe yet you directly release killing intent. You disregard my order, Why?

“I… I… I am sorry Alpha.” He stammers bowing his head to the floor “When I saw her I… I just wanted to kill her.”

“Wanted to kill her.” I repeated “That is not up for you. Do you have any idea what you have done? Your action causes them to be more cautious.” My voice raising in anger. “Take him out and kill him.”

“No, please no Alpha.” He begs as the two guards beside him drags him out. I can still hear his screams as they kill him.

I curse under my breath; I should have never sent him to spy. These stupid rouges they could never hold their killing intent. They always want to mindless tear things apart. It was already hard trying to control them with the little dominance I have.

“What do we do now Alpha?” my subordinate asks looking at me a little scared. He probably thinks I am going to kill him next.

I glare at him and he gulped I chuckle. “Take his body and dump it at the outskirts of their territory not far form the mall. It will by us some time at least. We will make our move now that they are on the alert.” I got up and step out the door.

I watched as some of my men are training and the others are lazing about. I notice 3 were preparing to take away the body of the wolf I order to kill.

“One of you will stay back and watch for when they discover the body. Notify me right away when they do.”

“Yes.” they said in union

I look up at the blue sky, what a beautiful day I though. it was a beautiful day like this too, soon everything will fall into my hand. My hands balled into fist.

“Jake.” I called. A strong guy with a scar on his face appear. “You will come with me and lead the first team to attack at my signal. Get everything prepare also notify our inside man it is time.”

“Yes.” He grinned and ran off.

Finally, all my plans are now coming to fruit.
