Before Evelyn could figure out the answer, she saw Harrison rushing out of the room and the plumpwoman following right behind him not long after. In fact, the plump woman seemed angry when sheentered the room, but when she came out of it, her face was pale as if she had just seen a ghost.

Moreover, Evelyn remembered seeing the security guards gathering around. She believed that theywould give Nicole a hard time, but Nicole still managed to get out of that situation.

Just when Evelyn was still caught in her train of thought, her phone suddenly rang. She looked downand saw the plump woman's phone number. Frightened, she accidentally answered the phone callinstead of rejecting it, which was what she intended to do.

In the meantime, the plump woman, who was making the call, heard the ringtone near her. She lookedin the direction of the sound, whereupon her eyes fell on Evelyn. Her face darkened as she walked upto Evelyn. "Were you that woman who called me?" The plump woman set her eyes on Evelyn, as if shewas her servant.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about…" Evelyn hung up the call and played dumb.

The plump woman scoffed and said coldly, "I'm sure it was you! You were the one who gave me a calland told me that Harrison had an affair! You knew their identity, didn't you? Are you trying to ruin theRiggs Family?!"

Despite the plump woman's aggressive attitude, Evelyn still refused to admit her mistake. Then, beforeshe could turn off her phone, the plump woman snatched it away from her and called her numberagain. When Evelyn's phone rang once more, she was sure the previous call came from her.

"Answer me! Why were you trying to ruin the Riggs Family?!" The plump woman was filled with angerand she glared at Evelyn. As her temper got the better of her, she blurted out her speculation andscreamed at Evelyn. "Did you also have an affair with my husband?! Is that why you wanted to set meup?!"

The place was crowded with people, and they were immediately drawn by the plump woman's voice. Atonce, Evelyn shook her head repeatedly and tried to explain herself. "No, Mrs. Riggs! This is all amisunderstanding. I saw a woman going upstairs with Mr. Riggs, which was why I called to inform you.I swear I didn't know this was how it'd turn out."

Nevertheless, the plump woman was too angry to listen to any of the words that Evelyn said. She thenwent on to vent her anger caused by the humiliation she suffered at the hands of Colton and Nicole onEvelyn. She pushed down on Evelyn's head while snarling at her like an angry beast. "You b*tch! I'mgoing to make sure you regret what you did! Are you so shameless?! How could you do such a thing?!"

As the plump lady spoke, she started to act violently toward Evelyn. She grabbed a fistful of Evelyn'shair and dragged her across the ground while the latter struggled frantically. "You! You're crazy! Whatare you doing?! Let me go!"

Evelyn was caught off guard by the slap and didn't know how to react. The plump woman had used alot of strength, so Evelyn's cheeks turned red and swollen in no time. There was even some blood atthe corner of her lips. Evelyn clutched her face in disbelief. "I don't know what you're talking about!"
