Nicole nodded and lowered her head to take a glance at the Dragon's Spine in the box. She didn'tsuspect anything since it looked the same as it did a few years ago.

"Alright. Thank you, Gina." She placed the Dragon's Spine aside.

Nicole spent almost the entire afternoon in the research center, constantly experimenting with theDragon's Spine in her hand. However, every attempt failed without exception.

"Nicole! W-Why are you here?" Gina asked awkwardly.

As Nicole quickly approached her, her clear eyes narrowed as she scrutinized Gina from head to toe."Gina, where did this tea set come from?"

Gina had no idea if Nicole had overheard their conversation earlier, so she could only respond as guiltwashed over her. "It was a gift from a friend. I liked it, so I accepted it."

"Friend? Which friend?" Nicole pressed while getting closer.

Seeing Nicole's attitude, Gina couldn't help but get irritated. "Nicole, what are you trying to do?"

Nicole sneered and fixed her gaze on Gina. "Gina, our master had a deep-seated grudge against theYale Family, but you, on behalf of the research center, are in contact with the science academy? Howcould you!"
