Years ago, the Zeller Family went on a trip, but no one knew where they went. When they returned,they were mysteriously poisoned, and even Nathan couldn't replace a cure.

Just as they thought that their lives were forfeit, White and Nicole showed up like avenging angels.Nicole was young at the time, in her early teens, but her medical skills were already exceptional.Although she looked as though she was merely White's apprentice, it was clear that she seemed toknow almost everything.

After a week of diagnosis and treatment, the Zeller Family was finally cured.

Ever since then, the Zeller Family had been extremely grateful to Nicole and White.

"Hello, Mrs. Zeller," Nicole greeted politely.

Jennifer pulled her to a seat and smiled warmly. "Well, I initially wanted both of the children to join us,but they're busy abroad so they couldn't make it. I apologize in their stead."

Nicole waved her off and said, "Mrs. Zeller, please don't worry about it. Besides, I have to thank Mr.Zeller for his help with entering the academy."

Both Nathan and Jennifer were medical professionals, and their children were naturally influenced bytheir outstanding parents ever since they were young. As a result, both were pursuing their careers inthe same field abroad.

When she mentioned the academy, the smile on Jennifer's face faded somewhat. She furrowed herbrows, sighing. "The people there are bad people, Nicole. Why do you insist on endangering yourself

by going to such a place?"

The entire medical community knew of the conflict between the Yael Family from the science academyand White. Although Nicole's identity was still a secret to the public, the Yael Family was well aware ofher connection with the now-deceased White. So, Jennifer was rightly confused about why Nicolewanted to enter the academy.

When Nathan heard his wife's bringing up this particular topic, he reached out and whispered anexplanation in her ear. The moment she understood the situation, a displeased frown immediatelyappeared on her face. She struggled to hold back her anger and eventually gave into her emotions asshe slammed the table, grumbling, "Those people from Yael are doing shady things again! I knew it! I'mcertain those love bugs are still somewhere in the academy. They're definitely still doing this in secret!"

Nicole perked up upon hearing Jennifer's mention of love bugs and she immediately pressed foranswers, asking, "Mrs. Zeller, you know about them?"

Jennifer breathed in several times, trying to calm her temper before nodding slowly and beganexplaining, "I've been working at the academy for a while, so I have some inkling about them. The lovebugs were frankly terrible and should never see the light of day. So, when I discovered them, I had theYael Family take care of it. I haven't seen them in years. I always assumed they destroyed it at mybehest, but it seems that I have underestimated their shamelessness. I never thought that they wouldgo behind my back and keep cultivating such repulsive creatures in secret!"

Nicole pursed her lips as she looked at Jennifer, who was brimming with righteous fury, and asked,"Mrs. Zeller, do you know where the Yael Family cultivates the love bugs?"

Jennifer swiftly composed herself and furrowed her brows. She pondered over the question for a while

before saying gently, "Nicole, these love bugs are dangerous. Whether it's their cultivation or research,there are a lot of risks pertaining to this particular bug."

Nicole shook her head and said firmly, "I'm not afraid of danger. I will save Colton by any meansnecessary."

Jennifer no longer tried to persuade her from changing her course upon seeing her determined shewas to go down this path. So, she nodded and said candidly, "They were studying the bugs in the labsbefore I caught them red-handed and demanded that they stop their research immediately. I doubt thatthey continued their research in the labs after I kicked up such a huge fuss over it. It wouldn't look greatfor them if I caught them a second time, you know?"

Suddenly, she tilted her head to the side as she considered the building's layout. Then, she looked atNicole and suggested, "I do have an idea where those bugs might be stored at the moment. Theacademy has a basement that isn't open to the public. It's very likely the love bugs are hidden there. Iknow for a fact that those things thrive in damp and cold environments. That place fits the criteria."

Nicole nodded and said gratefully, "Thank you, Mrs. Zeller. Do you know how to get in?"

Since the Yael Family might be conducting their research in the basement, Nicole was certain thatgetting access to the area wouldn't be easy. Jennifer wasn't the least bit surprised to hear Nicole askingabout that as she swiftly rose to her feet and puttered about the room.

After a short while, she returned with a key in hand. Then, she placed it on the table and slid it over as

she explained, "This is the key to the basement. The academy has a large basement full of medicinalsupplies, so each official has a key."
