Tyrone’s voice turned cold as he uttered, “There is no if. Even if you are pregnant now, I won’t allow thechild to come into this world.” @

“Okay… Understood.” Sabrina nodded, taking a deep breath. She yearned to exit the room as quicklyas possible. “Mr. Blakely, hadn’t you approved the plan? What instigated Darlene’s replacement?” @

It was uncommon for the CEO of Blakely Group to intervene in such minor affairs.

“I had my reasons.”

“Since the establishment of MQ Clothing, I have been overseeing its operations. You have neverinterfered before,” Sabrina asserted, undeterred. “Replacing Darlene should have been discussed withme.”

If he wished for a new spokesperson, all he had to do was say so. But appeasing Darlene and heragent, revising the plan, and strategizing for new advertisements fell to her and her team. The brand’sdirection and promotional plan would need to be adjusted accordingly. ©

Leaning back into his chair, Tyrone crossed his legs. “Galilea will be our new spokesperson.” @

Her mind buzzed, everything else went blank. After what felt Like an eternity, Sabrina found her voice.“Galilea Clifford?”

“Yes.” Tyrone confirmed with a nod, tapping the table with one finger in a confident rhythm. “Galilea islaunching her career in the country. This is her golden opportunity.” ©

Sabrina sucked in a sharp breath, feeling the air cut through her Lungs like a sharp blade. ®

Sabrina steeled herself against the surge of disappointment in her chest. “The image of Galilea justdoesn’t sync with the product’s vision.”

Galilea had always been perceived as chic and sophisticated when she was overseas.

“That’s your problem, not mine,” Tyrone said. “I trust you’ll replace a solution. This endorsement means alot to Galilea. You need to oversee it from start to finish.” @

Sabrina felt as if she’d been struck by Lightning, unable to comprehend her emotions.

Tyrone acknowledged her skills, but in the same breath, he handed her the brutal task of promoting hisfirst love’s career.

Did Tyrone see her as a machine devoid of emotions? @

“Alright. I’ll give it my all,” Sabrina responded. Each word scraped against her sore throat as shemanaged to push them out.

In the bathroom, Sabrina felt the urge to retch, but nothing came up.

She ran her hand over her belly, whispering reassurances to the unborn child within.

Her pale complexion and slightly reddened eyes stared back at her from the mirror that spanned theentire wall.

She repeatedly doused her face in cold water.

“It’s alright.” She tried to console herself.

It was just about assisting Galilea to become the brand ambassador, wasn’t it?

ALL she had to do was manage the advertisement shoot and its launch.
