Scars Of A Broken Bond
Chapter 1548

“I’m not sure. But I clearly recall meeting her in June. The baby she was carrying then looked aboutseven or eight months along. She must have gotten pregnant after coming here.”

In the photo, Sabrina wore a dress. It suggested summer.

Tyrone had accepted this. Sabrina had lost her memory about all these.

He wouldn’t show anything around her. Yet, every time he thought of the baby, a touch of sadness creptinto his heart.

After a pause, Tyrone said earnestly, “Let’s not discuss this further.

You invited me out here. I thought you missed me and wanted to catch up. But if this is what you wantto talk about, I’m afraid I can’t keep you company.”

Seeing Tyrone defend Sabrina made Kira furious. If only she had known, she would have drivenSabrina out when the Blakely family took Sabrina in.

Yet, Kira knew she had to swallow her anger since Tyrone wasn’t showing her much respect. Shecouldn’t just fall out with him.

“Fine, we won’t talk about her. I was so worried when I heard about your incident. I rushed back andgot people to help. Thankfully, you’re alright.”

“Thank you, aunt.” Tyrone trusted Kira’s words. Except for Kira’s hostility toward Sabrina, he alwaysfound Kira kind to him.

“Don’t be so polite to me. You’re my child. I have to protect you.”

Their conversation flowed smoothly whenever they avoided talking about Sabrina.

Kira inquired about Wanda and Jennie, and Tyrone responded.

Without realizing, they had chatted for over an hour.

Tyrone got his schedule. Glancing at his watch, he remarked, “It’s late. Aunt, where’s your house? I candrive you home.”

“No need. I’ve got plans with a friend. You go ahead,” Kira replied.

Back then, Kira had come to meet friends, coincidentally crossing paths with a pregnant Sabrina andsnapping those photos.

Tyrone didn’t question her and said, “Alright. Take care. I’ll take my leave.”

Tyrone stood up and left.

Watching him go, Kira’s gaze turned somber. She poured herself a wine, feeling its warmth soothe her. This was her solace. Horace had left her behind, and her relationship with her son was strained. Hadshe known this earlier, she never would have left Mathias and Tyrone, regardless of the trouble it mighthave caused the Fowler family.

Kira found herself reaching for a second glass of wine, replaceing only a semblance of calm by the third.

Leaning back in her chair, Kira sipped thoughtfully, soon followed by a fourth. It was clear she waswaiting for someone.

Keilani, noticing Kira’s solitary figure, turned to Alice.

“What do you think I should do? Should I go say hello?” she asked. After a moment of contemplation,Alice advised, “Sure, go ahead. Just be courteous and keep it brief.”
