Chapter 332.1 Can I Go Up? (1)
When she got closer, she saw that his clothes were soaked all over, and his hair was sticking to his forehead, dripping with water.
Troy glanced at the umbrella in her hand, but didn’t pick it up. He looked at Imogen calmly. “Thank you, Imogen. I’m glad you could come, but I can’t pick it up.”
Under the dim light, he opened his mouth, and the cold air drifted away.
Imogen lowered her eyes and stepped forward, forcefully thrusting the umbrella into Troy’s hand. “Take it! Go back to the car.”
As soon as she let go, the umbrella fell to the ground.
Imogen changed her expression, looked at the umbrella on the ground, and stared at Troy. “It’s all up to you! If you want to get caught in the rain, please go somewhere else. But don’t be downstairs at my house, in case something happens, and I’ll be blamed.”
“Okay. I’ll go outside the apartment.”
Imogen was speechless.
He turned around and walked outside, soaking in the rain.
In the rain, his back was still tall and straight, but there was a bit of silent loneliness added. A surge of anger welled up in Imogen’s heart. She turned around and walked upstairs.
He didn’t appreciate it even if she gave him an umbrella.
He could stand wherever he liked!
She didn’t care about him!
After taking a few steps, Imogen paused again, bit her lips, turned around to look at Troy’s back, and angrily said, “Troy, are you mentally ill?”
Troy stopped and turned to look at her.
Through the rain curtain, his eyes were affectionate. “Imogen, I don’t know why you believe so deeply, but I just want you to know that I haven’t helped Leo shift the blame. Even if you don’t believe me, you should believe the police. Before the investigation results come out, you can’t just sentence me to death like this.”
“I’m not sentencing you to death. You can leave.” Imogen blinked.
Although the judge had already drafted the verdict, the case had not been pronounced yet.
When the investigation results were released and handed over to the judicial organs, it was time to officially announce the verdict.
“Really? Since there isn’t, can I go up?”
Troy took a few steps back, looked into her eyes, and followed her words.
Imogen paused and realized that he wanted to go to her home.
“No.” Imogen looked at the umbrella on the ground. “Go back quickly.”
Troy smiled bitterly. “Why not? You just lied to me, right? In your heart, I am the most untrustworthy person. I know that everything is my fault, and I have broken my promise too
many times, so my promises have become cheap…”
Imogen felt a little uncomfortable hearing this.

It seemed full of tricks.
But when she looked at Troy, she saw his eyes were so sincere.
Was it because she was overly concerned?
“It’s normal for you not to believe me. I’ve put you in a difficult position.” Troy said again, “You go up, and I’ll go back in a moment.
Imogen looked at him suspiciously. “Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
Imogen pursed her lips. “You didn’t lie to me, right?”
“No.”
“Then… I went back, okay?”
“Okay.”
Imogen hesitated again and again, then walked back into the apartment.
Watching her back disappear through the door, Troy closed his eyes and stood still.
Suddenly, the footsteps approached.
Troy opened his eyes and saw Imogen appearing in front of him again.
