Chapter 343.1
Chapter 343.1 Considerate I
Imogen got into the car, leaned back in her seat, and closed her eyes to relax.
Her mood today was horrible, not just because of Mike and his mother but also because of Sarah. Sarah’s psychological and mental illness ordeal was miserable, but Imogen couldn’t sympathize with her.
The thought of Sarah possibly escaping legal consequences made Imogen increasingly agitated.
It was like a pent–up anger in her, lodged in her chest and unable to be released.
The sound of a Facebook message notification interrupted her thoughts.
Coming out of her ruffled state, Imogen picked up her phone and checked the message.
It was a message from Alex.
Alex reminded Imogen that the results of the Mountain and River Photography Competition were being announced. Thus, he asked if Imogen had checked them.
Then, Imogen realized she should see the results on the official website of the competition.
However, Imogen’s email remained quiet, and she assumed she hadn’t won, as she hadn’t received any notification.
No worries, participation was what mattered.
Perhaps she had taken an unconventional path, with limited formal training and facing specific barriers compared to professional photographers.
Imogen opened the award–winning works individually with a learning mindset, carefully analyzing their highlights and searching for her shortcomings.
When she opened the first–place winning work, Imogen was stunned.
She scrolled to the top of the page to check the name of the winner, then back down, scrutinizing
the works one by one, several times, until she finally confirmed one fact.
Her work had won first place, but she was not the winner.
Someone had plagiarized her work in a classic case of substitution.
Such situations were daily everywhere, especially in academia, but Imogen hadn’t expected to encounter them.
This news worsened Imogen’s already low spirits.
She became even more restless and furious.
At that moment, the rear car door opened.
Troy placed Grace beside Imogen and then got in, closing the door behind hin.
Grace said, “Imogen, we are back.”
Imogen took a deep breath, put away her phone, and looked at them. “Did I apolize>”
Grace nodded vigorously, admiring Troy. “Mike apologized. Troy is amazing.”
Troy smiled and patted Grace’s head, deliberately glancing at Imogen,
Their eyes met, and Imogen turned away, pursing her lips. “What about me?” Grace quickly said, “Imogen, you’re amazing too. I like you the most.” Imogen replied, “You little rascal.”

Grace chuckled.
The driver pulled the car out of the hospital and asked, “Mr. Marshall, where to now?”
Troy looked at Imogen and Grace, then mentioned a family restaurant.
Imogen, curious, asked, “Who are they? They didn’t seem to know you.”
Troy looked at Imogen for a moment, hesitating slightly.
Irene was practically a stranger to Imogen now. Did Imogen need to be reminded?
Grace spoke, “That kid’s name is Mike Harrington, and Troy called his mother Mrs. Harrington.” Imogen raised an eyebrow.
She didn’t interact much with wealthy families, but she had some knowledge. There were no Harringtons in the upper echelons of New York City politics and business.
The accents of the people who took them to the hospital sounded more like they were from Jubilian City.
Indeed, Jubilian City had powerful Harringtons, and Yohan Harrington was one of them. Were Yohan Harrington and Mike Harrington related? Such an unlikely occurrence. Imogen asked, “Could they be related to Hann?”
Mentioning Hann, Troy felt unhappy, and he nodded without saying anything. Imogen, oblivious, speculated. “Is Mike Hann’s younger brother?”
