Chapter 346.1 Apology Statement I

Ivette turned pale and gathered her courage. “Yohan… Is it okay if I just change the name back? Why do you insist on me apologizing?”

You are greedy and irresponsible. Is that what Mrs. May Rover taught you? Ivette, are you still a relative of the Harrington family? You are a disgrace to the Harrington family!”

Ivette shuddered with fear. “Yohan, I was wrong. I… I will apologize. Is it okay for me to apologize?”

“Aren’t you going to handwrite an apology statement?” Yohan asked.

“I’m on my way.”

Ivette immediately left the office with an annoyed look, and a hint of gloom flashed in her eyes.

She thought, “I can’t believe Yohan knew about such a small thing, making me get scolded by him. If I knew who did it, I would ensure the one had no good consequences!”

Ivette searched for a letter of apology on the Internet and modified it briefly.

After Ivette modified it, she texted a staff of the competition to ask: [Whose picture I posted was in the competition? What’s her name?]

Only in this way could she put the name on the apology letter.

The staff: [Her name is Imogen.]

Since Imogen had a real name online, her ID was her name.

The staff didn’t follow the news and didn’t recognize her.

Ivette was dismayed and had an inexplicable gut feeling, “The contestant named Imogen is the same person I know as Imogen.”

She asked Yohan’s assistant photographer, Caleb. And then, Caleb told her the whole story.

Ivette then learned that Yohan and Imogen had gone to Leeds City together to take photos.

No wonder!

No wonder this was brought to Yohan’s attention, so Imogen told on him.

Ivette’s fists slowly tightened, and a glint of hatred flashed in her eyes.

She thought, “Imogen! What is so outstanding about her? Troy is deeply in love with her and is determined to remarry her. Now, Yohan defends her, too!”

Thinking about what happened in the underground garage that day, Ivette hated it so much that she pinched her palms with her fingernails, making it bloody.

She continued to think, “If the plan had gone well that day, my lover would have been Troy, the chairman of the Marshall Group, not a drunken punk!

It was Imogen’s fault. If she hadn’t been there, Troy wouldn’t have gotten hooked on the drug and tried to get away!

Ivette was shivering all over with hatred.

She thought Imogen had to pay for it!

Imogen browsed the official website, and the first prize winner changed to her entry ID.

She also received the award email. In the email, the organizers invited her to Jubilian City for the awards ceremony in a few days.

Imogen purposely checked for those days when she happened to be on the set and didn’t have to film.

By then, it would be warmer, and she would change into her spring clothes. She thought it would be nice to go to Jubilian City for a few days of fun while collecting her award.

However, Imogen didn’t realize that there was still a rumor going on.

Some unscrupulous media outlets turned the story upside down, claiming that Imogen colluded with the organizers and used her power to buy the first prize at great expense.

The media considered Imogen’s evidence of collusion with the organizers to be the fact that she was in Yohan’s group chat for the course, of which Yohan was a judge.

The rumor was quickly suppressed. The organizers also released a statement saying that Imogen. was the undisputed winner of the first prize.

The original first prize signing ID Vera also publicly apologized on Instagram regarding the stolen. pictures for the entry.

After seeing it, Imogen frowned slightly.

She thought that the organizers were trying to protect the reputation of the competition, so they put the blame on Vera personally, who revealed that the problem was just lax auditing.

If it was known that the staff had been involved in tampering with the signature and stealing, the reputation of the Mountain and River International Photography Competition would be in tatters, and even the former winners would be questioned.

Yohan apologized to Imogen again, “Imogen, you saw the statement, right? I’m very sorry that were badly affected by the organizer’s mistake. The staff who tampered with the signature has been fired, but it couldn’t be published for some reason. I hope you can understand.”

“Hann, I can understand your reluctance to publish. You are the initiator of the Mountain and River International Photography Competition, and the reputation of the competition is at stake, as well as your reputation in the later years of the competition. But for something like this to happen, it made me wonder if there were more incidents like this in the past, only to be suppressed for various reasons
