[Arissa’'s POV]

I don't know how long I slept, but the sound of canon fire startled me awake. Jumping up, I grabbedIvan, who was also alert, and rolled out of the bed just as a large fire ball crashed through thewindow of the bedroom.

Blocking my eyes, I waited for the area to become calm before getting to my feet and steppingforward so I could look out through the large hole that now sat where the window had been.Down below, the grounds were alive with guards and warriors, wolves and humans alike, rushingtowards a line of hunters who were positioning their weapons for another attack.

"Guess we don't have to attack them first.” Ivan huffed, coming up beside me. "Good, I was hopingthis would happen.”

"What?"

Was he crazy? Why would he want Gillian and the hunters to attack his lands?

"Just trust me.” Ivan smirked, moving towards his closet and grabbing clothes. "Now, put these on.We aren't going to let the others have all the fun, right? *

"Never."

Slipping on the shirt and pants that Ivan had given to me, I began to follow him out of the roomand down the hall that was alive with shouting and chaos.

We continued to move until we were making our way out of the estate and into the fray. No onebothered looking at us as we passed, only stopping here and there to give orders.

"Ready to let loose your inner killer?" Ivan asked once we were close to the frontline of hunters"You bet."

Surging forward, I remained in my human form as I jumped on the closest hunter to me. Easilyripping his neck open, I moved onto the next. I only had a limited amount of time to kill as many aspossible before they got their shit together. Once that happened, it would become much harder.Looking over, I spotted Ivan taking out one after the other as well. All the while, his men began tocome forward, no longer worried about being overpowered with us here.

Finishing off the hunter I had in tow, I began to move. Making my way away from the hunters, Ibegan searching.

My main targets were Gillian and whatever members of the pack decided to join him. He was themost dangerous and therefore needed to go first.

"Looking for me?"

"Think of the devil and he shall appear.” I beamed, turning my gaze towards where Gillian stoodwith Tristan and Ivan's father. "Seems you aren't as big of a coward as I thought.”

"Never." Gillian smirked. "Why should I be afraid of such a pathetic group of wolves when I ammuch stronger than all of them?"

Much stronger my ass. Holding back my response, I began to move forward. For now, I wanted tostay downwind of Gillian so he didn't pick up on the scent of Rosario. As far as he knew, I didn’thave a wolf and that was the only advantage I currently had.

"Aren't you ashamed?" I asked Ivan’s father, deciding to try to keep them distracted long enough toget close. "You're doing this to your own son.”

"Familial love means nothing when it comes to power." Ivan's father pointed out. "And they wereboth well aware that this is a kill or be killed world."

"Right." I laughed.

It was pretty disgusting that a parent would do something like this, but then again, if anyoneunderstood terrible parents, it was me.

"Anyway, where is Ivan? Why isn't he here helping you? " Gillian asked, taking a quick glance aroundthe area.

We were a good way away from the hunters and wolves that were fighting. That meant that I wastruly alone when it came to this fight.

"Do I look like a weak little pup that needs a man to protect me?" I asked.

"Given how you fared in our last fight." Gillian laughed. "I would say that you do.”

"You won't be so lucky this time." I growled, feeling a quick pang where my stomach still wasn't fullyhealed. "I'm prepared and aware of your little secret this time.”

"That may be." Gillian agreed. "However, you won't only be fighting me this time."

"Oh, yeah?"

I lifted my brow as Tristan stepped forward with a look of excitement on his face. It was the samelook he had that night, and it sent a chill up my spine. But, I wasn't that girl anymore, and hewouldn't be able to hurt me ever again.

"Are you going to have your bitch do your dirty work?" I taunted, bracing myself for wheneverTristan decided to attack.

"Why should I dirty my hands?" Gillian grinned just as Tristan lunged forward, teeth bared.Jumping up, I managed to dodge his attack and take advantage while he stumbled in confusion.Landing on my feet, I turned in time to grab his arm and twist, throwing him into the nearest tree.Moving forward, I grabbed his throat and pushed him down as he flailed to break free.

"Sorry, but I'm not that weak little girl anymore.” I growled, tightening my hold. "And, I think it isabout time I paid you back for what you did to me.”

Letting a vicious smile begin to spread across my face, I reached down and grabbed Tristan's dick."How does it feel?" I hissed, tightening my hold as he began to panic. "Being so helpless and unableto stop what is happening to you?"

Letting a laugh escape me, I yanked, pulling his dick off with my bare hand. Satisfied that he wouldnever be able to touch another woman again, I stood and threw it on the ground at his feet as heremained unmoving.

"Don't worry," I said, laughing. "You're already healing, so you won't bleed out.”

Finished with Tristan, I turned just in time to see another warrior rushing towards me. I vaguelyremembered him as one of Isaac's guards and knew that he was a powerhouse.

Attempting to move, I didn't manage to avoid getting side swiped by the man and thrown to theground.

Scrambling to get up, I managed to roll out of the way as he slammed an elbow into the groundwhere I had been moments prior.

"Nice try." I huffed, leaping forward and wrapping my arm around his throat.

Letting out a snarl, the guard stood and began to flail about, trying to get me off of him, but I heldfast. All the while, Gillian and Ivan’s father watched with looks of joy on their faces.

"Let go." The guard growled, reaching around and attempting to grab me.

"If that's what you want.” I responded, releasing my hold and falling to the ground.

Kicking out, I knocked his feet from beneath him, sending him crashing to the ground. Making mymove, I opened my mouth, canines extended, and dug them deep into the guard's throat. Giving ahard yank, I pulled the skin, ripping it open and severing his jugular.

Standing up, I licked the blood from my lips as the man stayed in place, garbling for help from thetwo men that watched on without any pity.

Feeling my rage and need for blood beginning to rise, I turned to Gillian and Ivan’s father, ready toattack.

"Your turn.” I cooed, surging forward. "This time you won't get out of this alive.”
