Chapter 64 Invitation
Kaliyah approached Kaitlin and whispered a few words into her ear, "Just treat her the way she has devised against others."
"Hold my birthday banquet in advance? Will she come?" Kaitlin repeated blankly.
Lindsay said with dissatisfaction, "I don't want to see that ***. Are you still going to invite her to Kaitlin's birthday banquet? Don't even think about it!"
Kaitlin did not mind. As Kaliyah said, if Ainsley came, Manuel would be likely to come. If he didn't, no one would protect her.
If so, wouldn't it be easy for Kaitlin to do anything?
Moreover, her birthday happened to be a few days later, so she only had to hold the birthday banquet one or two days ahead of the competition.
"Mom, I have decided that I will be having a birthday banquet in advance. Kaliyah, you have to help me come up with an idea. She might not come." Kaitlin's heart was filled with worry when she thought about
it.
"Kaitlin, think about it. Right now, what does she need the most? Perhaps you can start with it," Kaliyah said gently.
Kaitlin was lost in deep thought, what does she need the most?
I got it! I know what to do! The corners of Kaitlin's lips curled up, and all of her previous irritation had disappeared.
The next day, Ainsley woke up early and came to school with Serina.
The students from the Organization Department had managed to invite most of the judges, and Ainsley was going to invite Mollie as soon as possible.
The competition would be held five days later. It meant that Ainsley had to confirm whether Mollie was coming or not in two days. The students from the Planning Department had to ensure the process of the competition and the order of the judges.
Ainsley inquired about Mollie's recent schedule and even called Mollie's assistant, but the answer
she got was that Mollie had no time recently. Her proposal to talk to Mollie was also rejected.
"Don't worry. If I can't invite her, I will inform you immediately."
"That's good." The students from the Organization Department relaxed.
Just as Ainsley was making ppt, she heard a knock on the door. It was Kaitlin.
Ainsley's brows were furrowed tightly, and her tone became cold. "What are you doing here?"
"Ainsley, you are a teacher now. Is this how you treat your students?" Kaitlin sneered.
Ainsley glanced at her coldly, "The Psychological Counseling Room is set up for students with psychological problems. I don't think you have any problems. After all, the last time you came here, you even scared away a student."
"You!" Kaitlin forced herself to calm down. She had come here with a big plan.
Kaitlin took out an invitation from her bag. It was made of pink paper with golden words.
Ainsley did not even look at it and refused it. "Are you going to invite me? Do you think I will go?"
"Don't be so heartless. It was indeed my fault for what happened at the banquet held by the Gage family last time. I have apologized. This is my birthday banquet, and I'm here to invite you in person," Kaitlin said seriously.
Ainsley thought about it and sneered, "Kaitlin, your birthday isn't tomorrow, right? I have helped
you hold several birthday banquets."
"That's right. It's just that I want to hold it in advance. Don't you want to go back to the Baldry's place and see my brother?" Kaitlin looked at Ainsley with disdain.
Kaitlin always felt that Ainsley had told a lie that she didn't like Cason. She was just afraid of a loss.
of face.
After all, her humbleness during the three-year marriage was not fake. As long as Kaitlin mentioned Cason, Ainsley would agree with any requests.
Ainsley did not reply for a long time. Just as Kaitlin was about to continue, Ainsley finally spoke.
"Kaitlin, I think I have made it clear to you. I don't like Cason anymore. I have divorced him and don't want to have anything to do with him. Please remember, if you mention him again, I will make you regret it."
Ainsley's eyes were deep, and she stared straight at Kaitlin with coldness. Kaitlin felt her hair stand
on end.
Kaitlin suppressed the anger in her heart. She recalled what Kaliyah had said and clenched her fists.
to calm herself down.
"Okay, I won't mention him again. But you have to reconsider it for the sake of Mollie. Don't worry, I am inviting you sincerely. I just want you to see how good my new sister-in-law is to me and make you totally give up on my brother. If you go, I will believe that you do not like him anymore."
Ainsley was startled. She wondered, Mollie is going to attend Kaitlin's birthday banquet?
Why did Kaitlin invite Mollie? Does she know that I plan to invite Mollie to be the judge of the competition?
"You know Mollie?" Ainsley said with uncertainty.
Kaitlin curled her lip. "Everyone in the University of Washington knows that you would like to invite Mollie to be the judge of the competition. It is no longer a secret. Moreover, Mollie just decided to attend my birthday banquet yesterday. After that, she seems to have no free time. Are you sure you won't come?"
"You invited Mollie to ensure that I will go to your birthday banquet?" Ainsley said in confusion.
What exactly did Kaitlin want to do?
"In any case, I have told you everything. It is up to you. Are you going to give up on Mollie?" Kaitlin smiled proudly.
Ainsley did not say anything else. The invitation was right in front of her, and it was indeed difficult for her to make a choice.
"Ainsley, I hope that you will come to the banquet. Don't disappoint me," Kaitlin said. Then, she left the Psychological Counseling Room directly.
At the same time, a post attracted a lot of attention on the forum. "Professor Randall will be attending the competition as a judge. Is that true?" The entire Department of Psychology was in an uproar.
For students majoring in psychology, Mollie was as important as their textbooks.
Even the school leaders were shocked. Cody immediately called Ainsley.
"Professor Wade, what's the matter?"
"Is the post on the forum real? You are going to invite Mollie to be a judge? Why is there no such thing in the plan?" Cody went straight to the point.
Ainsley checked the forum and found that her idea had aroused much attention.
"Professor Wade, I want to give it a try. I am not sure whether I can make it."
"Now, the school leaders all know about it and intend to publicize it. The University of Washington hasn't been so lively for a long time, and they want to seize the opportunity. If you are not sure, don't bother about the post on the forum for the time being. I will help you explain to the leaders."
Ainsley was touched. "Thank you, Professor Wade."
She only told the students in the Planning Department about her invitation to Mollie. However, just a day later, the news was spread on the Internet. Ainsley wanted to figure out who had done it
behind her back.
The purpose of the person was to force Ainsley to invite Mollie and attend Kaitlin's birthday
banquet.
