The beauty of the day was unreal.

Trees heavy laid with frost.

Air was filled with fog, the wind crisp and sharp.

It was as if I was in an unknown world of fantasy, and fear all at the same time.

I know not how I became a part of this fantasy world.

Was I dreaming? Was it real? or a Vision of some kind?. Was it a hidden dream that just happened because I wanted it to?

I felt lost and alone in a fantasy of my own.

It was so captivating, I could remember nothing of how I got here, or how to escape this unknown world.

I wondered about captivated and lost, so alone and afraid.

I had no one but my trusty friend which was a young cat, I picked her up and held her near to my heart, she purred to comfort me the best she could, a very loving critter was she, I Loved her so dearly...

To answer your question, I'm sure flashed in your mind after reading. Yes, I didn't replace my way home after the fog lifted away. That day the fog was extremely heavy and dense could hardly see my hand in front of my face, strange but true.
