Sweet Memory Lane, Poems & Letters -
( (3 ) Morning Sun Glistening
Morning sun glistened through ice-covered trees, sparkling brightly as diamonds could be.
Lonely thoughts creep into my heart and soul, for my lost Love earlier in the year.
Christmas coming so swiftly and stout, not ready am I for holiday be.
Tears flow uncontrollably down my cheek, four nights before Christmas to see.
Not my Love to sit beside me to celebrate this day. A holiday he so Loved.
An empty chair shall sit across from me during dinner and chat among family and friends.
Loneliness shall cross my aching heart once again, I try to hold back tears.
Fear and loneliness haunt me every day of my life, since he went away from earth, to heaven to see.
I still cry many a night in the darkness of eve, in my bedroom be.
He was a man of few words spoken of unconditional Love and care for family and friends that knew him well...
