Probably because she had eaten something and her throat was moistened, her voice sounded less hoarse than before.

“I have another favor to ask of you. Can you bring my two cats to the pet shop for boarding?” Larissa struggled to change the subject.

With her injuries, it would probably take several months to recover. She would need someone to take care of her during this time, so she definitely wouldn’t have the energy to care for those two cats.

Thinking about it, she felt even more guilty. When she left for Aldovia, she abandoned them once, and now, she was abandoning them again, albeit temporarily.

If they were human, they would probably hate her by now.

“Alright,” Kevan agreed readily.

“This is the password to my house. The cat food and litter are in the kitchen cabinets. When you bring the cats to the pet shop, you can bring their stuff along, or you can just buy them directly at the shop itself. And also Larissa rambled on instructing Kevan about the

cats.

Once she finished explaining everything that needed to be said, Kevan had no reason to linger any longer.

Lewis put on a straight lace and turned around, covering his eyes in embarassment.

There was something she needed to clarity. “Do you know who hit me?”

The car accident was obviously intentional, However, everything happened so quickly, so she did not have the chance to see the driver’s lace clearly.
