Chapter 128

Kevan and Larissa's intimate actions made Lucas avert his gaze. His lace was as red as Lanas.

Lana wrapped her arm around Larissa's other arm, batted her eyelashes, and looked at Larissa expectantly.

"Stay with me tonight, okay? I'm staying in this hotel."

Larissa was completely distracted by the hand Kevar had placed on her waist and had no intention of dealing with Lana. Just then, Lucas happened to turn around and give her a cue.

Larissa immediately caught on to what he meant and politely declined Lana's invitation, "No, thank you."

"You came all the way to see your boyfriend, so you should spend more time with him."

"No!" Lana not only ignored her advice but also started to throw a tit. "It's my birthday, and I'm in charge. You have to listen to me!"

She pouted sulkily, her bright eyes wide open, her cheeks streaked with disapporiment, looking like a spoiled child. But Larissa wasn't buying it.

"Be good," she said.

Seeing that she was adamant Lana softened her tore and begged while gently nudging her arm. Please, prelly, pretty please."

Larissa didn't taller, but Lucas was the first to give in.

"I will have plenty of time with Lana later. If you're free tonight, why don't you stay and accompany her? She has a lot to share with you after all these years."

"Why would she be free? Revan's displeased voice boomed, drawing everyone's attention.

"Sorry, Ms. Seymour," he apologized with a tight smile and said, "Your sister's evenings belong to me."

Larissa felt his crip tighten a bit Lana looked at Lucas, then back at Larissa. Although she was unhappy, she didn't object any further.

"Well then," she pouted, her expression filled with dejection.

Larissa pulled her arm out of her grasp and bid them goodbye. "We'll be leaving now. Goodbye.'

Lana reluctanty watched her leave and said unwillingly, 'Goodbye. Larissa."

The air outside the banquet hall was unusualy fresh. Perhaps it was because the space was no longer crowded, or maybe it was due to her good mood.

Larissa raised her head slightly and thanked Kevan sincerely, "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for?" Kevan raised a brow with a mysterious glint in his eyes. "It's the least I could do. After all, you fell in love with me at first sight and put so much effort into winning my heart. I should repay you for your ellorts."

Larissa fell Ike she was struck by lightning. It turned out he had overheard her conversation with Lana. She was so embarrassed, and her face immediately flushed red.

...She asked, and I didn't know how to respond, so I made up a story on the spot," she explained softly.

At this moment, she wished she could bury herself in a hole to escape this awkward situation.

Kevan's smirk deepened, and his eyes twinkled with amusement. He turned his lace away, softly humming, indicating he belleved her explanation.

To spare her further embarrassment, he abruptly changed the topic. "But it's quite a concllence that Lucas' girikiend happens to be your

sister."

"Yes, it is," she hastily agreed.

She gladly hopped on any conversation as long as he stopped talking about what had happened just now.

"I heard from Lucas that your sister is from artern. What about you? Are you from Baithan too? Kevan asked casually,
