Chapter 163

Larissa had previously suspected that Kevan was behind what had happened to Karin, but she'd never had the chance to confirm it. Now that he coenly admitted it, she couldn't help feeling anxious for Lana. She didn't I ke Lana and didn't want anything to do with her, but she couldn't let Lana get into trouble in Covenlord. Clherwise, Yvette would cause Larissa some trouble.

'Til de as you say," Larissa said.

"Good." Sat sfied, Kevan let go of her, Standing upright, he resumed an indifferent, aloof expression,

Tuming his back to Larissa he returned to the elevator.

"Wait for me downstairs at 8 am tomorrow."

Larissa's work began at 9 am, and she usually left at 8:30 am, which gave her enough time to reach the hotel clock in, and have breaklast

To accommodate Kevan's schedule, she had to wake up half an hour earlier.

However, when she arrived downstairs, she didn't see Keyan. Instead, she saw Lane.

Last night, she'd sent Larissa along string of voice messages apologizing after she returned home. Crying uncontrollably, she repeated," I'm sorry, Larissa. I shouldn't have been so will. Kevan was right. I've never cared about you, and I haven't fulfilled my responsibilities as a sister From now on, I wil make an effort to change and become a responsible sister!'

As Larissa listered to her voice messages, instead of feeling touched, a migraine began to brew in her head. She had no idea what kind of trouble Lana would bring her next.

When Lana saw her, she rushed over excitedly.

"Larissa!" She eagerly handed her a lunch box. "I made breakfast for you!"

Inside the lunch box were two sandwiches cut into triangles. Since they didn't require c ock ing. Larissa decided they should be edible.

As she took it from her, she said. "Thank you."

As Lana hugged her arm she seemed both remorseful and uneasy. I said some harsh things in the elevator last night. I'm sorry." Smiling, Lanssa replied. "It's fine."

"You're not angry with me anymore?" Lana asked warily.

"Yeah." Perhaps Kevan's response was satisfying enough for Larissa, so she didn't feel angry at Lana.

Lana grinned in relief. "Anyway, why are you leaving for work so early today? I've never seen you before whenever I came downstairs at this time."

Just then, Kevan and Dylan amwed on the floor together,

"Hey, why's everyone's up so early?" Dylan asked, greeting them. Lana's eyes, however, were loated on Kevan.

"Mr. Rogers" she called, intending to approach him and lak to him, However, Larissa, who saw through her thoughts, beat her to it.

"Kevan, Larissa called, linking her arm with Kevan's. With a smile, she said, 'Let's go."
