Larissa was about to reply when Marilyn grabbed her wrist.

She replied instead, "I accidentally hit my leg on the table and bruised it. Larissa went to the infirmary and got some ointment for me. She was reminding me to apply it when I get home." Lewis nodded and said coolly, "I see. Be careful next time."

"Alright," Marilyn responded in a soft tone.

Larissa glanced at Marilyn and noted that her face had turned redder than when Nina slapped her on the cheek earlier.

Larissa bid them farewell at the entrance.

Marilyn immediately spotted Kevan's car. "Is your driver coming to pick you up again?" she asked.

Hesitating for a moment, Larissa noticed Lewis' attempts at suppressing a smile. "Yes, I'm going now!" Larissa replied with difficulty and waved goodbye.

The next moment, she turned back. "Mr. Logan Junior, could you send Marilyn home? Since she hurt her leg, driving would be inconvenient for her."

As soon as she said this, Marilyn's face flushed red. She waved her hands frantically. "It's alright! It won't affect my driving! There's no need to send me home." Although she refused firmly, Lewis had his principles as a gentleman.

"There's no need to be polite with me. Let's go. I'll send you home!" Lewis said with a smile.

Marilyn looked to Larissa for help, but she just gave her a push and mouthed silently, "Go for it!"

As Marilyn froze, Larissa quickly got into the car.

Inside the car, Kevan and Aster were going over their shopping list. When Larissa got in the car, Aster complained with a frown, "Mommy, you're so slow!"

Larissa leaned forward to Aster, who was sitting in the passenger seat, and tapped him on the head. "Now that you have your dad, you're starting to replace me annoying?" she said half-jokingly. "No way! I love Mommy the most!" Aster said innocently with his eyes wide.

Although he liked his father a lot, Kevan told him that his favorite person should only be Mommy alone. However, when he grew up and got married, his favorite person could only be his wife. Even though Larissa knew that Aster was trying to butter her up, his declaration instantly improved Larissa's mood. She ruffled his bangs and smiled with motherly affection.

Kevan handed her his phone. "We made a list. Take a look and see if there is anything else to add."

Larissa and Wendy frequently cooked at home. They never baked anything complex. Thus, they needed to buy new tools and ingredients.

Kevan and Aster had no knowledge of baking, so they listed a few essential items based on their imagination.

Larissa went through the list and added some missing items from the list. "Tomorrow night, we will have stew at home, so we will buy the groceries we need at the same time. I invited Lewis for dinner as well. He said he wants lamb and some expensive seafood."

As Larissa spoke, she observed Kevan's reaction. Without hesitation, he agreed, "Sure."
