Chapter 829

Kevan picked up a strawberry from the plate. He brought it to Larissa's lips. He gestured for her to open her mouth.

Larissa wasn't used to such public displays of affection.

She wanted to take the strawberry with her hand.

Alas. Kevan docged.

"You can choose between me feeding you by hand or by mouth," Kevan whispered in a low lone against her ear.

Larissa opened her mouth and bit into the strawberry.

Kevan didn't let go.

ter she bit off hall of the strawberry, he ate the other half.

After

"That's realy sweet."

He licked the remaining juice off his lips, exuding a seductive expression.

Larissa could sense the burning gazes of other people on Kevan. She felt irritated by that.

Jealousy surged within her, filling the air with a sour taste.

She pinched the flesh on his waist. She warned him through gritted teeth, "You better tone it down before I teach you a lesson back home!

Kevan's smile widened and he agreed in a cheerful tone. "Okay."

He seemed to be in a good mood.

Larissa increased the strength her grip on him. "No smiling allowed!"

His charming smile made the young female teachers swoon over him as if they were oblivious to her presence.

Kevan pursed his lips and put on a straight face.

Satisfied, Larissa let go of him. "Stay like that."

Kevan had a hint of amusement in his eyes.

He suppressed the urge to smile and said, "Fine."

In comparison to their leisurely pace. Allen and Freddy were all over the place.

They decided to make custard tarts, which were even simpler than cakes.

The tart shells were store-bought, and they only needed to pour the custard mixture into the shells.

Even so, their table was a mess.

Milk, eggs, and sugar were strewn everywhere.

Even Larissa, who wasn't that particular about cleanliness, frowned at the sight of how dirty and sticky their side of the table was.

She couldn't help but ask, "Do you need any help?"

Larissa had no doubt if she let them continue, the mess on the table would be disastrous.

By that point, Kevan might even throw them out along with the table.

"Yes, please?" Allen looked at her pleadingly, as if Larissa was their savior.

"Of course,"

Larissa took the mixture from his hands and quickly mixed the baller.

1/2

"Bake them in the oven for half an hour and they should be done," she said.

Allen let out a sigh of relief and slumped into a chair.

He exclaimed. "This is much more challenging than work!"

Freddy sat down beside him, keeping his head down in silence. He seemed lost in his thoughts.

"How is your new job? Allen asked Larissa.

"It's going fine." Larissa answered.

"I see. I was hoping that it your new job didn't go well I could convince you to return to Winston. None of the people under me can match. up to you."

Allen seemed disappointed.

Larissa didn't take his praise seriously. She had said similar things to others out of courtesy before.

"You need to give them more opportunities to grow. Their skills will naturally improve. It would be easy to surpass me."

"No, you're d Herent from them." Allen shook his head firmly and gave her a meaninglu. look.
