Chapter 847

Lewis had been looking around for a bit, but he never saw any

of Kevan having lived here before.

Larissa did not plan on telling Lewis about her relationship with Kevan now, so she made up an excuse. "Aster and I are temporarily living here. Wendy just got a new boyfriend who used to try to date me before, but she doesn't know it. I feel like It was a bit awkward, and I'm worried that she might figure it out.

"Kevan just happened to have a place here, so he let us move over."

Lewis nodded and stopped asking anything else.

The "extra lessons" lasted for the whole morning.

Larissa ordered takeout instead of cooking in the afternoon to save more time for her learning.

When she was eating, she spoke to Lewis. "If you're free in the afternoon, could you help me watch Aster for a bit? I have a window shopping and dinner date with Marilyn."

Lewis agreed, but he did not forget to remind her. "Come home early."

Larissa gave Lewis the "okay" sign.

Larissa met up with Marilyn during a weekend for the first time. Marilyn was still dressed up, but her clothes were more casual than the

ones she usually wore for work.

The moment she saw Larissa, Marilyn happily came over to grab her arm. "Any shops you'd like to see?" Marilyn asked.

Larissa shook her head. "I follow you." However, less than half an hour later, she regretted her words.

Marilyn was like a window-shopping robot who would never get tired. She dragged Larissa around several shops in the mall.

Unlike Larissa's decisive shopping style. Marilyn would grab several clothes off the rack to try on one by one for every shop she entered.

She even demanded feedback from Larissa-but in the end, Marilyn would not even buy a single piece.

Larissa sat on the shop's couch, holding the mineral water given by the shopping assistant as she texted Wendy. "What's up? Have you finished discussing with him?"

Marilyn appeared from the fitting room. She spun around in front of the mirror before looking at Larissa eagerly. "What do you think? is it

nice?

Larissa was already out of words and excuses, so she could only use the things she had already said before. "It's pretty good. Yellow makes your skin stand out, and the style of the skirt is pretty good." Marilyn frowned though. "I don't like the waist design here. You can't see the waistline."

Larissa silently drank her water.

"Tu try a different dress!" Marilyn returned to the fitting room.

Larissa returned her attention to her phone. There was no notification on her screen. She began to worry. It was almost in the afternoon, those two should be finished with their discussion by now. But Wendy said nothing at all. Larissa could not tell what the ending would be

like at all.

Marilyn appeared from the fitting room again and repeated the things she had done earlier. She even said the same thing as before. "What do you think? Is it nice?"

Larissa was not focused on Marilyn right now. She gave a look at the outfit, and noticed that the dress' waist design had the same issue as the previous dress', so she just said, "You can't see the waistline with this either."

But Marilyn said, "I think this dress is quite suitable for me though! The color isn't bad either and it's quite fashionable!"

Later. Marilyn tried on several more clothes.

Larissa paid a bit of attention instead of just tossing out random feedback. Sometimes, she would even nitpick the outfits Marilyn chose.

In the end. Marilyn bought several outfits that Larissa had nitpicked, and a few outfits that Larissa had praised the most-and these outlits got given to Larissa in the end.

"Here, for you! Didn't you say you liked them?" Marilyn's smile was surprisingly sincere.
