Chapter 855

Lewis was a workaholic. Larissa was the same. They did not put down their work even when lunchtime rolled around. They simply ate inslant noodles while they worked.

Larissa's phone suddenly rang. When she saw that it was Aster, Larissa panicked and answered the call at once. "Mommy-"Aster was crying as he called cut to her.

Larissa's heart began to pound. She felt more worried than ever. "What's wrong?" Her voice was trembling.

"Godma's missing"" Aster sobbed as he tried to say everything clearly.

Larissa walked out of the study at once. Seeing that something was wrong, Lewis followed too.

"Don't cry." Larissa comforted him. "Tell Mommy properly what happened."

Aster took several deep breaths to calm down.

"Godma and I were eating, and then she said she wanted to go to the toilet and would come back. She told me to wait for her at my seat."

Aster had already texted Larissa about it before they ate. He even snapped a picture of the restaurant.

"And? Larissa had no time to change. She simply grabbed her down jacket that was hung up in the entrance hall and left the house. Lewis helped her call the elevator as he listened to the voice that had leaked out of the phone speakers.

"So. I waited for her while I ate. But she still didn't come back after 10 minutes. I called her and she didn't answer either. I even asked the Ms. Waitress to replace her in the toilet. She called Godma's name but no one responded. Mommy, I'm scared! Please come get me!" Aster's fear was obvious.

"I'm already out of the house. I can go over scon." Larissa unknowingly spoke faster. When she entered the elevator, she also anxiously kept punching the "close" button. "Stay where you are and don't go anywhere else. If strangers try to take you away, Shoul for help and get the waitress to help you call the police."

"Okay!" Aster agreed.

"I won't hang up the phone." Larissa maintained the connection to help Aster feel saler. "Don't be scared. Mommy's with you."

"Okay." Although Aster said so, he still rushed his mother, "Mommy, please come faster!

Lewis had specially bought the tickets at the nearest cinema, so it saved them quite the travel time on the road. Like yesterday afternoon, Larissa sped through the roads to reach the mall ihal Aster was at with the fastest speed possible.

Unable to wait for the elevator, Larissa ran up the escalators. Ignoring the confused and curious stares she got from the others.

Larissa and Lewis looked for the restaurant that Asler had shown them via a picture shop by shop.

Once Larissa saw Aster sitting in the restaurant safely, she allowed her tears to fall. Aster was looking around, his hand gripping his phone tightly as he sat stiffly in his chair. "Aster!" Larissa rushed over to hug him as she pressed his head into her chest.

Aster froze for a bit before walling out loud. He cried out all the hurt he fell during these ten or so minutes.

The restaurant became really quiet, only Larissa and Aster's walls could be heard, Everyone was staring at them in shock. No one knew what had happened.
