Larissa and Edmund waited in the hall. Edmund still held her, pretending to be in love with her.

Larissa knew that she could not escape his grip, so she did not bother trying.

After some time had passed, Edmund finally got the picture from his guys. He showed Larissa his phone. "Here. Take a damn good look at it."

In the picture, Wendy was still unconscious, and she was being held by a male colleague. The colleague was staring blankly at the camera, clearly confused by what was happening. Larissa had met this male colleague before. His relationship with Wendy was not bad, and he was trustworthy.

Larissa sighed in relief.

Edmund pulled his phone away and asked, "Can we leave now?" To wait for this photo, he had rebooked his flight ticket.

There were not many flights from Westonia to Bartham. This flight's destination was Covenford, which was incredibly far away from Bartham. After landing, they had to make a connecting flight back to Bartham.

Larissa's attitude was better than before. "Yes."

As they walked to the boarding gate, Larissa suddenly stopped and held her stomach with pain written all over her face.

Edmund eyed her coldly and warned her. "Don't start anything with me. If you want to go to the toilet, wait until you're on the plane!"

"No..." Larissa frowned hard. "My ... period... is here, I think."

Edmund spent half a minute to understand what the hell a "period" was. He uncomfortably turned away but his voice was still cold and flat. "Do you think I'll believe you? Even if it's already here, fucking hold it in for me!"

Larissa gritted her teeth and tried her best to bear the pain. But the pain was so bad that she turned pale. She bent over and ended up crouching down in great pain. This attracted the attention of all the other travelers.

An elderly Aldovian woman came over and asked kindly, "Miss, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

Larissa glanced obviously at Edmund and waved her hand. She forced a smile out and said, "It's alright! It's just period cramps."

The elderly woman looked sympathetic. "Oh, my! Period cramps are very painful, dear!" She held Larissa's arm and asked, "Do you need a painkiller?"

Larissa still waved her hand. "It's alright, I don't need it."

The woman could not let it go. "I don't think you'll be able to walk at all as you are now."

Hearing this, Edmund quickly ordered Larissa. "Eat it."

Only then, did Larissa say, "Okay."

The elderly woman helped Larissa up. "Go sit over there, and get your husband to buy you a bottle of water." She stared at Edmund after saying that.

Edmund heard that last half too. Even if he was unwilling, he still had to go because he was worried that people would notice that something was wrong. Before leaving, he said to Larissa, "Don't run around. Wait for me right here."

The vending machine was not far from their seats.

The moment Edmund walked a fair distance away, the woman's face changed at once. She pressed a phone into Larissa's hand and said quietly, "Go to the closest washroom. Someone's waiting for you there."

Although Larissa had not figured out what was going on, she did not dare waste time at all. She jumped up from her seat and raced to the closest washroom.

Edmund's roar of rage came from behind her. "Get back here, Larissa! Do you think I won't fucking kill Wendy?"

Larissa ignored his words and only stopped until she was in the ladies' washroom. She leaned against her knees in exhaustion as she panted hard.

The phone given to her by the elderly woman beeped as a new message popped up. Larissa opened the message and only saw two words, "Come out."
