Daylan nodded " If you can't disable them it in two minutes, leave it and get out" he said, as he draggedFaye out who was screaming and kicking for Stefan to come with them.

As she was being forced down the stairs she stared crying " we can't just leave him, you should haveforced him to come with us"

"I can't force him to do anything but I believe he will make it out" Daylan said, his heart was torn in bits.He did not believe what he had just did either but that was the only assurance he could give Faye soshe could walk faster.

It is not that he wanted to leave him there but he had to get his wife out before the place blew up,Daylan eyes watered up, he loved Stefan and knew this would destroy his mother. But he would alwaysbe grateful to him for everything he had done for him and his family and knowing he had given his lifeto save them.

When they reached the button of the step there were two men with guns and a body was lying on thefloor. It was ameerah, her blood was rushing from a gunshot to the chest, Daylan who shoved Fayebehind him, he did not know who these guys were or if they work for ameerah and Braddon and he haddropped his knife upstairs.

"Mr sage it is okay, we are with Stefan" one of the men said, when he saw the look on Daylan's face.

"There is a bomb, we have to get out of here" he shouted at them, closing Faye eye with his body soshe wouldn't see the dead Bodies of the giant and ameerah, he pulled her closer to himself and theyran out to the door.

Daylan knew they have only five minutes left before the bomb would go off and he need to get her asfar from the building as he could. When they ran very far away from the building they squatted behind atree.

The two other men helped him to shield her from the blast they were sure was coming, " just so youknow sir, we had no choice to shoot that woman, she pulled a gun on us".

"What about the man? Braddon?"

"He is tied up in the back of our car, he told us everything" the man said, then he looked at his watchand at Daylan " Only one minute left, and where the fuck Is Stefan?

Faye looked up at Stefan, tears flowed down her face " Daylan we should have made him come withus, this is our fault, he should have been safe with viola"

He cupped her chin in his hand, " You stop it right now, it is not our fault but the fault of those twopeople bent on revenge, Stefan will make it out. He has to" he said, holding her head against his chest,he started stroking her hair.

There was less than a minute to go and still no sign of Stefan, Daylan body was drenched with sweat,his head and heart was pounding, it had to have been the longest minute in history as they all staredtowards the building, each one silently chanting for Stefan to appear.

Stefan hands were shaking, sweat dropped down his face and seeing there was only four minutes lefthe knew he would not be able to disarm the bomb.

Viola face appeared in his mind, they had only begun their lives together and his love for her ran deep,she was the only woman he had loved and would die for and she was his family. He turned and ran asfast as his body would allow him to and raced down the stair, he knew he would not make it in time buthe had to try.

Daylan, Faye and the men watched, hoping and praying. Time was up, not hearing an explosion theythought Stefan had successfully stopped the bomb from going off, but to their horror they had a bigbang and saw the building collapsing.
