"Wake up angel" he gently tapped her face, he quickly buzzed for the nurse when she was notresponding, he had never been this scared.

The doctor followed the nurse in, moving Daylan aside he examined her. " Mrs sage open your eyesand look at me" the doctor turned to Daylan " it is just the shock, she is starting to come around".

Daylan breathe a sign of relief when he saw her eyes flutter open, going over to her he took her hand inhis " don't ever scare me like that again baby" he said and kissed her lip tenderly. Faye sat up ignoringthe request for her to stay laying down " where is our baby?" She asked looking at him with tears in hereyes, her hands grabbed Daylan's collar " why haven't you replace him and where is the police?".

He held her tenderly but in a firm grip looking into the depth of her eyes " Listen to me angel, we willreplace our son very soon okay. Who ever is behind this will pay dearly" he pulled her into his arms andheld her head on his chest letting her cry.

They both looked up and over when the door opened and his bodyguard walked in followed by thepolice. The guard was shocked to see the sight of them, Daylan was pale, his eyes suken and Fayewas sobbing as she clung to him, her face red with eyes filled with pain. His heart went out for them.

Going over he stood in front of them, " I just hear what happened boss, the police have the wholehospital surrounded. A bulletin had gone out telling about the abduction, so every coo in the city is onthe lookout. They need to ask you both some questions.

" Mrs sage will you talk to the police?" The bodyguard asked.

Still clinging to daylan, she turned her head to face the guard, " Yes" she replied feeling a hand strokingher hair.

"Mrs sage can you tell me what happened when your husband left the room?" The older of the twoofficers asked. She was grateful that Daylan kept his arms around her, her voice hitching in her throatas she tried her best to tell them everything.

"Can you describe this woman?"

She Drew closer into Daylan's embrace " she wore a nurse uniform, she was tall with a short red hair"

The officer nodded while his colleague jotted her statement " Is there anything about her youremember?".

Faye nodded " she wore these darkrimmed glasses".

"Okay Mrs sage, did she give you her name?"

"No" Faye replied burying her fa e in Daylan's chest sobbing, " why would she take my baby away? Ishould not have let her take him, this is all my fault".

Daylan stroked her hair " this is not your fault baby, Don't blame yourself" he kissed her hair thenlooked at the two officers " You have to replace our son"

The two officers nodded " we are going to do everything we can, now can you think of anyone whomight have a grudge against you? One who would want to take your son away from you?"

Daylan glanced at his bodyguard then back to the officer " I have an idea who might have done this"

"Who Mr sage?" The officer asked.

"It is the handiwork of my godparents Maxwell and viola"

The officer looked at him surprised " Maxwell and viola? I thought they were both charged for thekidnap of your wife one month ago? And it was at your directive you told us to release them after they

swore not to come close to you and your family".

Daylan nodded " Yes officer but iam very sure of what iam saying"

"Why would they want to do that?"

He drew Faye closer into his arms " Because they hate me and want to teach me a lesson, mygodparents are very sick perverted people who who enjoys making others suffer, it gives them greatpleasure to cause people pains.

The officer nodded " I will make some calls and have them search their house with a search warrant, itwould take couple of hours so just sit tight any sign of an infant being there we will replace it"

Daylan nodded " but what about the surveillance tape? Did you replace anything on it?"

"We have a team of men working on it as we speak"

Just then a young officer walked in carrying a bag and handed it over to the officer doing thequestioning " sir, this was found in the trash bin in the under parking lot" he pulled out a red wig and ablack glass.

"Mrs sage, do you recognize these?"

Lifting her head from Daylan's chest she stared at the item " Yes, this is what she was wearing whenshe came into the room, A Disguise. Now we will never replace her, will we?" She started sobbing.

" We will replace her and when we do we will replace your baby" the officer stood up. " I need to check on theprogress of this case, I will be back soon"

When the three of them were alone, Faye got leaving the warm embrace of Daylan's arm and wentover to the bassinet, picking up the blue blanket that was given to them as a gift she held it up to her

nose. Fresh tears flowed and she sank to the floor on her knees " I can smell him on this blanket, ohGod! I want my baby"

Daylan rushed ovee getting on his knees pulled her into his arm, tears ran down his face. Not knowingwhere his son was and seeing his wife in so much pain was riping his heart to pieces, lifting her upgently he carried her to the bed laying her down as she was close to collapsing again.

The bodyguard felt helpless as he watched on wishing there was something he could do, " Boss, can Iget you both something ?".

"Yeah, some coffee and juice for Faye please"

"Okay sir, I will be right back"

Daylan poured her a glass of water " here sit up and drink this"

Sitting up she took the water and drank it, then looked at him with sadness " You blame me for lettingour baby be kidnapped, don't you? It is okay, I blame myself too"

Daylan was shocked, not for a second did he think it was her fault, taking her face in his hands hestared into her eyes " My God! No baby, don't ever say that. I don't blame you atall my love instead Iamthe one to be blamed, I should not have left you both alone and as a matter of fact no one could haveknown this was going to happen, I promise you we will get our son back. Tell me you trust and believeme"

"I do" she said throwing her arms around his neck sobbing, she felt the warmth of his arms when he putlled her right against him, YES she believed he would do Alex.

The guard came with the drinks and behind him was the officer carrying a laptop and he sat on thetable. " Mr sage I just got a word back from the seat team, they searched every inch of your godparents

home and there was no sign of a baby being there, and they had never gone out since morning"

"They are lying and he must have my son somewhere else" Daylan growled.

"That means we will keep an eye on them, now here are the takes from the surveillance cameras, Iwould like for you to take a look at it, there was only one that looks a bit suspicious" the officer saidturning on the laptop and they all watched it.

"There!" He pointed " we did not get her face but she was carrying something that looks like your childin her arm and she was in a big hurry, when she came out a black van pulled up and she got into it, doany of you recognize her atall?" The officer asked and replayed the video.

"Wait!" The gaurd spoke quickly " can you zoom in closer?"

The officer zoomed closer, but because of the angle of the camera he still could not get a closer look atthe woman.

"I knew it!" The gaurd exclaimed " I have seen this woman, I know this woman".
