Chapter 35

EVANS POV

Mondays are not really bad for me. It's neither bad nor good. But this Monday just had to be different.

First of all when I woke up, I quickly took my bath and dressed up. Then I went downstairs to eat something. After eating, I happily walked to the garage to get my baby. After hopping on my beautiful bike, I turned the key trying to put it on but it refused to turn on. I tired several times but it was the same thing. I was getting frustrated. My happiness was long gone.

I tried some more times but it was like the battery was completely dead. I couldn't wait to repair because I was getting late for school so I decided to go with my Ferrari.

Second strange thing that happened to me was when that Omega talked back at me. Well it was unexpected and surprising when she talked to me and insulted me. At first I was confused and thought maybe she was talking to someone who was standing behind me because she would never talk to me like but u was surprised when I saw that there was no one behind me when I turned to check. I was actually the one she was talking to.

It didn't just end there she fucking insulted me by calling me a mad jerk. Me? The soon to be alpha of evergreen pack. She talked to me in a very rude way but I didn't fail to notice that something was bothering her. It was like she was an entirely different person. And I knew very well that it wasn't her wolf who just spoke.

I stood there speechless as talked to me and left. I couldn't wrap my head around what just happened. I continued to stand there not until Juliet walked to me.

"Hey you. What's wrong? Why are you standing there?" I heard her ask.

I faked a smile at her.

"It's nothing don't worry about me." I said to her. I didn't want to talk about it.

I opened my car door and picked up my bag before shutting the door and locking the door.

Now it's time for classes. I will try to forget about that Omega but that doesn't mean I won't think of how to make her pay for what she did earlier.

I walked into the school building with Juliet following me behind. I dropped her off in front her classroom and looked inside the classroom from the door and I saw the Omega. Her head was on the desk.

"Was she sick or something?" I asked myself feeling worried.

When I realized what I'm doing, I quickly controlled myself. There is no way I will get worried about that girl. Never.

I turned and left Juliet's class as I rushed to mine quickly.

I was able to make it in before the teacher's arrival. I looked around to see all my Friends were were already present.

I walked to my seat and sat down.

"Yoh man how are you doing?" Smith asked me.

"well I think I'm good. I mean how should I feel if not good." I said to them.

They were about to talk when teacher stepped in.

Nice save.

Lessons began and then after some time, it ended finally. Time for lunch.

I walked together with Smith and Nate to the cafeteria. This time around we sat together. I began to eat while my two friends refused to raise their spoons because they were waiting for their mates. Ahhh love. I thought rolling my eyes.

I was also waiting for those girls to come. Because I wanted to sit next to that Omega and teach her a lesson for being disrespectful to me.

After some time, I noticed the girls coming but what I didn't understand was why that Omega wasn't with them. Why were they only two walking right to us.

"Hello everyone." Angel said.

I couldn't help to notice that she didn't sound all cheerful like she usually sound before.

"Hey where is Rosie? Why are you girls alone?" Smith asked looking so worried.

If someone didn't know, they will think he was talking about his mate or girlfriend. I mean why does he have to be so concerned about that Omega. I just couldn't understand. I rolled my eyes as I continued enjoying my food. "Well she said she won't eat anything today." Maria said as she slowly sat close to Smith. She too didn't look so happy.

"Why wouldn't she eat? Maria did she eat much at home before coming to school?" I heard Nate ask.

"No infact the only thing she has had is an apple and a bottle water. She has be moody ever since she woke up and she has refused to say a word to me. The only thing she told me that she wanted was to be alone." Maria answered. "Well that's bad. Something is really bothering her. But no matter what it is, she shouldn't stay in an empty stomach. What do we do?" Nate asked them.

Well I was sitting right there with them but it was like they didn't notice a thing as their whole attention was on that Omega. Smith and Nate were yet to touch their food while the girls didn't come with a tray at all.

I was already almost about to finish eating my food.

"Well I promised to bring back snacks for her when I'm done." Maria said.

"I have an idea, why don't we just buy snacks and go and eat with her. I think she will eat that way when she sees us surround her. What do you guys think?" Angel asked smiling.

"Thats a very brilliant idea. I think it will work." Smith said and they all nodded their heads.

Smith and Nate quickly stood up.

"Oh yes Evans if you don't mind please take care of our food. We have to go. Take care bro." Smith said before leaving.

Wow the nerve of those guys. They didn't notice I was sitting right in front of them when they were talking it was only when they were leaving they recalled I was right there the whole time. And what? I should take care of their meal. I mean what do they take me for. I sighed as I continued eating but my mind went to the Omega.

I wonder what was wrong with her and the reason for her sudden change of emotion. Did something happen to her at home or what. I just couldn't understand what was wrong with her. And it's not healthy for one to eat just an apple and refused to eat lunch. I just hope she's...

Hold up Evans your doing it again. You are thinking of her. Don't do that.

I was about to continue eating when I felt someone sit next to me. From the perfume I knew who it was immediately.

"Hello Evans. I guess you were waiting for me." Juliet said smiling.

"Well..." I started but couldn't replace the words to complete it because I sure wasn't waiting for her and I can't tell her that I wasn't. It will surely break her heart.

"That's so sweet of you. You are yet to give me an answer to what I told you." she said looking at me.

For a minute I was lost by what exactly she needed answer for.

"What answers?" I asked her.

"Are you kidding me. I said I love you and want you to be mine." she said rolling her eyes.

She rolling her eyes on me wasn't so good looking as the way the Omega rolled her own eyes on me. Juliet's own looks so offensive while the Omega's looks cute.

I let out a groan out loud when I realized what I just said.

What is actually wrong with me today? Why am I thinking about that girl?

"Hey what happened? You seems lost. What is wrong?" I heard Juliet ask.

"Oh it's nothing." I said to her quickly.

"I know it's something. Even this morning I could tell that you were lying to me. Just spill it already will you." she said.

I let out a sigh. I decided to tell her what the Omega did in the morning but I left the part where my mind was filled with her. I just can't tell Juliet that not when I know her very well.

"That low class bitch. How dare she talk to you in that manner. She deserves to be punished for that. How dare she?" Juliet said looking at angry.

I looked at her and smiled. At least I knew someone was on my side. I was very sure if I had told my friends this, they will side with the Omega who is their friend. Who have wrapped them round her finger.

"Calm down juju. I will surely think of a way to get back at her soon." I said to her. I didn't want her to do anything that might backfire.

"Fine whatever you say. But I will have a word with her when I go back to class so she could learn her lesson." she said with anger in her eyes.

I smiled as I couldn't eating my food. After we were done eating, we walked back to class but this time I didn't escort her to her own class because I needed to see a teacher.

I walked to my gym's teacher office.

"Good afternoon sir. I heard you wanted to see me?" I said to him as I sat down.

"Well I wanted to see you to discuss something with you." he said.

"Well what is it teacher Pat?" I asked him.

"Well I was wondering if you could be the school's football captain? You are very good in football and you are a perfect.....

I didn't get the remaining words as someone entered my mind screaming for help. I knew immediately it was Juliet. Without excusing myself, I quickly stood up and rushed out of the office as I headed straight to her class. I wonder what was wrong with her and why she was seeking my help.

When I arrived the classroom room. The sight in front of me made me see red.

The Omega was punching Juliet who was did nothing but scream out and no one was stopping the Omega.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE."

I shouted.

She better have a very good explanation to why she was punching Juliet or else she is going to be punished for hurting someone whose rank is higher than hers.

I wonder what has gotten into her.
