Chapter 94

ROSIE POV

I quickly stood up forgetting that Evans head was on my laps. I rushed to her.

"Luna can you hear me. Please open your eyes." I said to her hoping she would hear me.

"What's going on?" I heard Evans voice.

I turned to see him rubbing his eyes as he looked at me confused.

"I swear I saw her finger moved. Evans come talk to her maybe she might hear you and wake up." I said to him.

Alpha Bryan raised his head up quickly as he looked at his mate. I forgot about him also.

He quickly stood up and reached out for his mate's other hand which I wasn't holding.

"My bella please if you can hear me wake up. I'm right here my love please open your eyes." he said with a very soft voice.

I squeezed her hand lightly hoping she will wake up.

"Evans run and get the doctor. I can feel it that she will soon wake up." he said not raising his head.

I turned to see Evans running out of the ward.

"That's it Bella you are doing well." I heard alpha Bryan say making me to turn only to see Luna Isabel a trying to open her eyes. When she finally opened them, I almost screamed for joy but I held it in. I can't disturb the other patients in the hospital and also Luna Isabella might not like noise.

She closed her eyes and opened it again..I guess she was trying to adjust to the brightness.

"Thank you my Bella for coming back to me. Thank you so much my love." Alpha Bryan said and kissed her forehead.

Evans entered with two doctors and a nurse. He walked to my side and held me. He pulled me aside so the doctors could attend to his mother. We only stood and watched.

After they were done examining her, they started removing the tubes from her. I let out a sigh of relief Although they haven't said anything to us, by removing the tubes I knew she was out of danger. After they were done, they only let an IV on her.

"Alpha the Luna will be fine. She has fought hard to pass the tough stage. Now she only needs a lot of rest to heal faster and stronger." one said to Alpha Bryan.

"Ohh thank you very much." Alpha Bryan said to them.

"We will make sure to come back after some few hours to still check on her again." they said before the bowed and left.

Evans walked slowly to his mother.

"Mum can you hear me?" he asked her.

She turned her eyes to look at him but didn't say anything. His face changed. He had a big smile on his face. He turned to me.

"Rosie look my mother respond to me." he said looking like a little child. I felt so touched at his reaction. It's a good thing we didn't lose Luna Isabella or else I can't just imagine what will happen.

I slowly walked to where he was standing and looked at Luna Isabella.

"Luna we are all waiting for you to get better and stronger. You need to get off this bed it doesn't fit you at all." I said to her smiling.

I saw her lips go up a little. She was trying to smile.

"Alright I think you both can leave now. You have seen her wake up so please go and rest already. I can take care of her myself." alpha Bryan said.

"But dad can't we stay with her for a little while?" Evans began to ask.

"Yes Alpha please. At least not for long but for a little while." I asked too hoping he will let us stay.

"No way. I won't allow that. You both need rest." he said.

"But dad I have slept." Evans told him.

"I know but Rosie hasn't. At least pity your mate who has been taking care of you without taking care of herself. She deserves some rest and I can't allow her go alone. You need to go with her too." alpha Bryan said. Now I see his plan. He was trying to use me as an excuse here. I just hope Evans doesn't fall into his trap.

"Fine dad we will go home now."

I turned to look at Evans. How dare he falls for it easily? Couldn't he at least beg some more?

"Good son. Now go. Don't worry I will call you both to update you about her improvement."

"Make sure you do that dad." Evans said to his dad.

"Lets go Rosie."

I silently followed him since I couldn't talk to him in front of his father. When we left the hospital and entered the car, I turned to him.

"What was that about?" I asked without wasting time.

He left the keys and turned to me with a confused look.

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you so blind to see that your dad was using me as an excuse to make us leave? You shouldn't have agreed easily." I folded my arms and glared at him.

"But he was right Rosie. You especially need some rest. You haven't rested ever since we came here and I felt so bad because I was a burden to you by laying on your laps earlier." he said.

"And who told you that? You are not a burden okay so stop saying that." I warned him.

He smiled.

"But seriously Rosie you need to rest at least freshen up and sleep a little." he said.

"But I wanted to stay with Luna Isabella and see how she is. I don't want to leave her alone." I pout.

"Trust me, me neither but we can't disobey my father's orders. Remember his alpha. And he needs to stay with his mate. So we need to let him be. I'm sure be will take care of her so well." he said. "Alright then if you said so." I replied.

My stomach made a loud embarrassing sound.

"Hmm looks like someone's hungry. Let's go grab something to eat before we head home." he said before he started the car.

He drove to a restaurant. He packed and told me to stay in the car. He rushed inside and after waiting for him for a while he came out with his hands full. He had ordered food in takeaways. I was pleased that he thought of that. Truth be told I didn't feel like eating in public.

He drove us to his house. We entered and before going upstairs, we ate the food he bought. We ate in silence. After we were done we went upstairs.

I quickly took a hot bath to close my muscles down. After I was done, I dressed in something light.

When I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw him already laying on the bed.

"Come and lay down. It's my turn to take of you. I will make you sleep the way you helped me." he said as he tapped the space beside him.

I walked to the empty side and laid on the bed facing him.

"You don't have to put me to sleep." I said to him.

"Shushh don't talk lemme pamper you a little. Just enjoy it." he said as he pulled me to lay my head on his chest. He hugged me and played with my hair with his hand.

"I didn't thank you earlier for helping my dad and I with my mom when we lost control. Thank you so much for staying with her and watching over her." he said.

"You don't have to thank me Evans. She is my Luna, it's a habit to make sure she's safe. My wolf also feels the duty to protect and watch over her so don't worry. Besides she's someone I look up to. I can't stay without her. I need her to get well immediately. I really missed talking to her." I said to him.

"Now that's she's awake, I'm very sure she's going to be fine. You don't have to worry about anything." he said.

"Evans I wanted to ask you something?"

"Yes Rosie you can go ahead." he replied.

"What happened to you earlier when you entered and you found the doctor trying to hit me. You seems very different. Infact completely different. I was scared a bit because I have never seen you like that." I asked him what had been bothering me ever since and hasn't left my mind.

His hand stopped moving on my hair for a while before he continued.

"Am sorry I scared you earlier Rosie. Honestly it was because I lost my control over my wolf. He was stressed out with my mother's attack and then seeing that fucking asshole trying to hit you, he took control taking me off guard. Trust me you don't have to be scared because he will never hurt you I can assure you on that." he said.

Now I understand why his voice sounded so different. It was his wolf Axel. Axel has never sounded that way to me so it was true that he was actually on the edge about the attack on Luna Isabella.

"I won't be scared of him. Besides why will I, he actually helped me from being hit from that man who refused to listen to me. If only he had listened to me, he won't have been punished by the alpha. That brings me to my next question. What punishment did alpha Bryan give to him?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Rosie that's enough of the questions. You need to rest now it's late." he said.

"Please just answer this last question." I begged him.

"It wasn't something that involves removing his limbs so don't worry and his alive so rest now no more questions. That all I can tell you." he said.

I decided to let it go since I have heard that he wasn't dead. That was enough.

Evans kept playing with my hair and his scent was enough to make me feel so relaxed.

Before I knew it my eyes began to close slowly. Just when I was about to shut it completely, I heard him whisper something into my ears that felt so unreal like it was a dream.

"I love you my Rosie."
